A few days have passed.
You pretty much adapted to your new lifestyle, now used to waking up in another household. You also got adjusted to your new school, thanks to the fact that you managed to make some new friends.
Sometimes your mind would wander, thinking back to your life as it was before. But you would shake your head right after those thoughts, remembering that you couldn't go back to that.
You buttoned your white shirt, adding the red tie right after. You fixed some of your strands of [h/c] hair, checking your figure through the mirror. You nodded at your reflection, feeling content with your image.
Getting down the stairs, you picked up your school bag, now going to put on your shoes. Glancing around the room, you couldn't help but notice that you were the only person in the house. You knew that Mrs. Hanagaki would always go out before you, and her husband was always at work, but the absence of the blond boy was not something unusual.
After you found the boy and his small friend group at the park, you noticed how he would come home all bruised up every night. It's not like you didn't notice that he and his friends were delinquents, but the amount of wounds on the blond boy's face was concerning.
You tried to talk to the boy, kind of wanting to help him, but Takemichi seemed different.
You couldn't exactly put a finger on it, but you noticed how the boy would have different behaviour sometimes. It wasn't obvious, but it was still perceptible thanks to some small details.
You shrugged, It's not like he would tell you exactly what he's doing in his life, so you just let him be. You got out of the house, warm sun rays were shining down on you and beautiful blue skies were above your head.
You quietly made your way to school, enjoying the breeze that was ruffling your [h/c] hair. You took out your flip phone from the school bag, making a satisfying click sound as you opened it.
"Still not used to this thing..." you mumbled, your fingers tapping the small buttons on the keyboard. As you kept on using your phone, you walked along the sidewalk, now getting closer to the school building.
Your fingers moving across the small keyboard, now responding to a message that you new found friend Emma sent. You smiled, the girl really was something special, as she basically became your closest friend in this world.
Snapping shut your phone, you put it back in your school bag, right as you walked through the school's gates.
Getting inside, you went to your small locker, now changing your shoes from outside's to inside's ones.
Walking down the hallway you greeted some of your classmates, which were lingering outside the classroom to enjoy the last minutes of freedom.
Sliding open the class door, you made your way to your school desk. Unfortunately, it wasn't near the window, but your small desk was situated close to the back of the class, so you couldn't really complain.
