3 days left before debut

Minho POV
I woke up early and got ready to go to the company to get in some practice before the rest of the members. As the day came closer that has become my routine,though I don't have much alone time since they all come in earlier than usual to. 'guess they're just as determind'

"Minho hyungggg" I heard Felix call out walking/running with two cups of coffee. 'didnt expect to see him here until at least another hour'. I though,as I waited for him to catch up. When he finally did there was a few seconds of silence while he tried catching his breath,he then let out a brief,out of breath "morning hyung" while handing me one of the cups he was holding. "Oh uh morning. Is this for me?" I asked confused,yet still taking the coffee. (At this time in the morning,there's not way I could refuse some free coffee.) "Yeah,I came in a bit earlier to practice with you and I figured I'll get us some coffee. You don't mind right,hyung?" Felix was always so nice and..beamy? It's hard to say no to him so I just nod and take a sip of the coffee. "Thanks"
Felix gave another one of his cheerful smiles and I tried giving one back but it probably looked just as forced as it felt. We both walked into the building and towards the training room.

"Hey Felix" I said from the other side of the room as we started warming up,"yeah Hyung,what's up?" Felix responded. There was a little bit of silence,I sighed and asked what I had wanted to. "Why did you want us to practice together?" Felix looked at me a bit confused. "Do I need a reason? I mean we're about to debut so we need all the practice we can get" he said and continued with his exercise. "No um..I meant,why did you want to practice with me. You could've just came in at normal time and practiced with the others so why me?" I shook my head "nevermind, just go back to what you were doing"

"Because I want to." I heard his deep voice say after a while. "I want to get to know you better hyung and plus your one of the best dancers out of us so I could learn a thing or two from you" he chuckled a bit and walked towards me, "plus, everyone deserves at least someone being nice to them. That includes you hyung" he gave me a slight pat on my shoulder before starting the music and going back to his practice routines. I couldn't help but slightly smile. 'that kid is to nice for his own good' I thought before going up to him and practicing the choreo along with him,giving him some tips every now and then, sometimes correcting him when he made a mistake but overall,it was nice. We didn't even realize an hour had passed until the other members arrived and heard some clapping.

I looked to see who it was coming from while Felix stopped the music. "Nicely done guys" chan said with his annoying smile. "Thanks Hyung" Felix said. "Yeah,thanks..anyways you guys can pick up from here. I'm gonna go practice on my rap" I said, gathering my stuff and moving towards the door. I knew the rest of the members didn't like me and that was fine but I sure as hell wasn't gonna stay around them. "Oh I'll come with you then. Last time we practiced together we didn't get very far,I'd like to see if you've improved." Chan said, stopping me at the door. 'well that's unexpected' I sigh and shrug "alright." I don't even know why I agreed but I guess Chan is the only guy here,besides Felix,who doesn't completely annoy me.

We go to the recording room and I feel a little nervous about being in here alone with him, remembering our last time being alone. Before I get lost in thought again chan clears his throat, "so,you and Felix huh. Good to see you taking an interest in becoming friends with the other members" I get a bit taken aback by his words as well as the tone he said them,I can't quite place how or why but it sounded a bit different. Maybe I'm over analyzing. "I'm not befriending him,we just happened to get here around the same time and well,he's not a complete pain in the ass like the others so I don't mind talking to him I guess. But in any case you should know by now bang chan,that I'm not here to make friends."

I make sure to say the last part as clear as possible in hopes that he'll realize whatever this leader act he puts on by trying to make me engage with the members is pointless and that I don't need his help. "Still no honorifics" he shakes his head in disappointment. "I know. I also know you didn't join jyp entertainment to debut in a group,but you don't always get what you want in life,lee Minho" he walks closer with every sentence,causing me to back up. "Unlike you,I want to debut in this group and I sure as hell will make it happen. With all of my members. That's why I need you to work with us. Work with me." He says sternly, blocking me between his body and a table. 'shit he's more intimidating than I thought..but also kind of- no! Snap out of it..' I mentally scold myself. "Whatever" I say under my breath, looking away to avoid his piercing eyes. He sighs and moves away, sitting down at the other side of the table infront of his laptop and starts playing the track

"Alright. Let's hear it"

2 updates in one week?? Lmao don't get used to it cause I just feel like writing but who knows how long that'll last. Especially since I started exams today😭 anyway wish me luck and go listen to lose my breath! I love it
