Things were frantic in the Torres household, John and Miral were running from room to room sometimes twice to make sure things weren't left behind.
B'Elanna was eight years old and standing with her four year old sister, while her grandmothers Isabella Torres and L'Naan looked at each other with exasperated looks, their children were perfect for each other, both worried about leaving things behind.
"Hurry up!" whined Tsarlala, she stomped her foot causing everyone to freeze, her mother and grandmother were terrified of Tsarlala when she got mad and they were full Klingon. The amount of things Miral and John had to replace because of Tsarlala's tantrums.
"Okay, lets go." said John grabbing his youngest daughter by the hand and dragging her kicking and screaming to the transporter. B'Elanna winces, she's figured out that if that's how children act she doesn't want any.
"We'll Comm. you mother, Isabella." said Miral nodding to her mother and mother in law. B'Elanna followed her mother out.
"Mom?" B'Elanna asked.
"Hmm." Miral responses.
"Where are we moving too?" B'Elanna asked.
"Earth, where there are more Klingons for me." Miral answered stiffly, which made B'Elanna think that her mother wasn't actually happy, but Miral was Klingon and she'd deal with whatever came her way.
[San Francisco]
The Torres family had already bought a house in San Francisco before they moved.
Miral made her way inside to find more Klingons to socialise with, B'Elanna wasn't sure how her mother was going to do that stuck indoors but she figured her mother had a plan.
Tsarlala had calmed down when she saw their new house.
"B'Elanna?" John asked calling out for his eldest daughter.
"Out here." B'Elanna said.
"Ah, there you are." John said walking out to the backyard, there was a mini playfort and a pool with a small slide.
"Can you keep an eye of Tsar?" John asked.
"Yes, can we look around the neighbourhood?" B'Elanna asked in response.
"Be careful." John said.
"Where's Mom going?" B'Elanna asked when she saw her mother head to the transport.
"She must've found somewhere to go meet other Klingons." said John.
"Okay." said B'Elanna.
She took Tsarlala's hand, the two walked out of their house when B'Elanna stopped suddenly, much to her sister's confusion when four kids went zooming past on their bikes, not even seeing B'Elanna and Tsarlala.
B'Elanna just rolled her eyes, she scanned the four of them, there was only one boy, he couldn't be more than twelve/thirteen, then he looked at the girl beside him, she looked about thirteen/fourteen and then the other two girls one looked about fourteen/fifteen and the other one was about fifteen/sixteen.
The thirteen/fourteen year old girl locked eyes with B'Elanna and Tsarlala, she smiled and left her siblings to their own devices.
"Hi, I'm Lauren." she said.
"B'Elanna and this is my little sister Tsarlala." said B'Elanna.
"Ah, you must be Captain Torres' kids." said Lauren.
B'Elanna frowned curiously.
"Our Dad's work together, my Dad's named Owen Paris." said Lauren explaining.
"Dad's mentioned him once or twice." said B'Elanna.
"And that must mean your Mom is the Klingon-Federation Ambassador, Miral." said Lauren.
B'Elanna nodded.
"If you don't mind my asking how old are all of you?" B'Elanna asked.
"I'll go from oldest to youngest." said Lauren.
She points to a girl with wavy blonde hair, the one B'Elanna thought looked fifteen/sixteen.
"That's Elsa, she's seventeen, beside her is Elizabeth." Lauren said, she pointed to a girl with short blonde, just touching her neck.
"Elizabeth is fifteen." said Lauren.
B'Elanna nods.
"I'm thirteen and our brother Tom, the only boy is eleven." said Lauren, pointing to the boy fighting with Elizabeth, while Elsa tries to stop them.
"I'm eight and Tsarlala is four. We moved from Kessik IV." B'Elanna volunteered.
Lauren smiled.
"I think you'll really like it here. It's quiet and a good place to raise children. Would your mother come to a welcome to the neighbourhood party?" Lauren asked.
B'Elanna quirked an eyebrow.
"Our mother, Esmeralda Paris, she's a scientist. It would just be your family and ours. If you had cousins they could come to. I'm telling you about it now because as soon as she learns you've moved in she's going to plan a welcoming party." said Lauren.
"No, our Mom wouldn't come. Also tell your Mom, that Tsarlala and I don't eat Gagh or Targ, so tell her not to prepare that. If it happens of course." said B'Elanna.
"If it happens." Lauren agreed.
"Laura, come on. Lets go!" Elsa yelled.
"I'm coming. I'd better go. It'll either be Mom or Dad wanting us home. Or Elsa's going to drag us to her shitty boyfriend's house." Lauren said.
"Sorry I shouldn't have sworn." she said quickly after realising what she said.
"Mom swears all the time. In Klingon." said B'Elanna.
Lauren laughed, she waved to B'Elanna and walked to her siblings.
"She's pretty." Elsa comments, seeing B'Elanna and her sister.
"Which one." Elizabeth asked.
"Both, but right now it's the older one." said Elsa.
"Well they're our new neighbours." said Lauren.
"Where are we going?" Tom asked.
Before three of the four Paris siblings groaned as they arrived outside of Elsa's boyfriend's house.
