Elsa was racing with her siblings, zooming past the newly bought house across the road. Lauren had wandered off to meet the new neighbour's kids.
"Laura, come on. Lets go!" Elsa yelled.
Her little sister Lauren said some words to the half Klingon girls.
"She's pretty." Elsa comments, seeing B'Elanna and her sister.
"Which one." Elizabeth asked.
"Both, but right now it's the older one." said Elsa.
"Well they're our new neighbours." said Lauren.
"Where are we going?" Tom asked.
"Here." Elsa said.
Lauren, Tom and Elizabeth groaned in annoyance as they stood outside Elsa's boyfriend James' house.
"Oh pipe down." Elsa snapped.
She didn't see what was wrong with James, sure he could be rude but he loved Elsa, a lot.
Or so he told her.
"Hi, Elle." said James kissing Elsa's cheek, he forced a smile.
Tom, Lauren and Elizabeth glared at him as they shoved past him.
"Why did we have to come?" Elizabeth asked stiffly.
"Mom wanted you guys out the house." Elsa shrugged.
"So you bought us to James's house instead?" Tom asked dryly.
James whistled, slightly.
"They still don't like me then." said James to Elsa while they walked to the kitchen.
"No, but that doesn't matter." said Elsa.
The Paris children spent a few hours at James' house, Elsa could see her siblings were getting bored, so they left.
"You four are so rude." Elsa snapped, when they arrived home.
"What happened now?" Esmeralda asked, she was the table looking at a PADD.
"We went to James' house and they ignored him." Elsa replied.
"Well he's not very nice." replied their father.
"Dad" Elsa groaned exasperated.
"So have you four met the new neighbours?" Esmeralda asked, later when everyone was sitting down for dinner.
"Lauren did." Elsa replied.
"The Torres's the daughters are nice, well the eldest is, the younger one sought of stood silently, I don't think we'll be seeing Miral that often." Lauren said.
"Miral's not the most social person, she's the Klingon-Federation Ambassador and so only shows up for meetings and such." Owen adds on.
"You've met them?" Tom asked.
"I work with Captain Torres and I've met Miral a few times. I even met B'Elanna and Tsarlala when they were babies, they won't remember me however." Owen adds on.
Elsa chuckled.
Eventually she walked to her room and got ready for bed. She wondered if her mother was going to do a 'welcome to San Francisco' party for the Torres's minus Miral of course.

I'm not impressed with this chapter, that's why it's so short.
