Penelope's story

The baby

________Austin's POV________

I have been sitting on the chair outside of her room at the hospital for like 2/3 hours.
I couldn't sit still, I tried too take my mind of it and watch a movie but after the whole movie I didn't even know what it was about. All I could think of was Penelope. I have called Nick and her parents but only her mother was here. Her dad was apparently out on a date. Who could stay at the date when the know that there baby girl has been ran over and are at hospital. God, that guy is going on my nerves.
Nick is at a plane to Las Vegas.
I don't know what he is doing over there.

A nurse got outside from room #74 where Penelope was in.
I stood up and her mum was asleep.
" Austin Milan? " She looked around and saw me.
" I guess that you are Austin then, let's go into my office "

I sat down on one of the chairs and looked around. Very clean.
" So...Penelope is fine, She just Broke her Arm. But the baby didn't make it. I'm really sorry " she sat down on her office chair.
" BABY?! " I screamed a bit too loud. " Yes Mr Milan, it was only 2 weeks old " I stood up and walked around in her office. How the fuck could this happen.
" You can take your wife home tomorrow at the morning "
" Eeh...she isn't my wife but can I see her? "
The nurse nodded and walked out with me to the room #74.
She unlocked it and left me alone with her.
" Babe? " I walked close too her bed. " Yeah " she said with a raspy voice.
" Are we going home yet? "
She asked and sat up in the bed. " No honey, you will come home in the morning. I will be here with McDonalds "
She smiled and kissed me.
" Look Pen..." I itched my neck and looked at her.
" The nurse said something..."
She drank a little of her tea and looked at me.
" When she talked about you the nurse said something that gave me a headache "
" Yeah? What did she say? "
" She said that the baby didn't make it Penelope. Do you know anything about the ' baby ' "
" What baby Austin? "
" The one who was in your belly Pen "
" I WAS PREGNANT?! " she screamed and looked at her stomach.
" Well...you clearly didn't know about it. I'm really sorry but it didn't make it "
" YOU should be sorry too you know?! "
" I AM "
" I was fucking pregnant. "
She started too tear up.
" I was pregnant. I had a baby in my belly and I seriously killed it "
" YOU did not kill it babe "
I laid down next to her and hugged her.
" It will be okey. " I kissed her forehead and closed my eyes.
