The carnival

I got too the park and Austin was sitting at the bench under the apple tree. He waved and smiled. I could see he was faking his smile.
I got closer to him and I hugged him.
" What's going on? " he asked and sat down next to me on the bench. " I didn't go to Isaac because my parents wanted too talk to me. "
" And?..."
" The are getting divorced Austin. " I could feel tears pop up in my eyes. He took his arms around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him.
" You will be alright, don't worry. If you fall I will be there and pick you up. " He kissed my forehead and smiled.
" thank you Austin "
" So about that Isaac guy...how old is he? " great, I have an interview!
" I don't know...I think 17/16 "
He smirked and scratched his neck.

We was on the park a long time and it started to get dark outside. " I think it's time to go home " I said and got up from the ground.
" Wait "
He took my hand and pulled me closer to him.
" Me and the guys were going to head to a restaurant tomorrow but they couldn't go so. Do you wanna go and just hang out? "
" Yeah sure, how many is going? "
" It's only going to be us "
" Oh...what is it called...that thing you go out with someone you like?...."
" A date. I am asking you on a date. Please be my date "
He smiled awkward and I smiled. " How can I resist that smile? " I hugged him and I started to walk home.
Holy shit. I'm going on a date tomorrow!
I looked behind me and I saw Austin walking towards the bench.

I was standing in front of my house and all the light were off.
I got inside slowly and quietly.
When I turned around Nick was standing in front of me.
" Where the hell have you been?" Nick crossed his arms and stared at me seriously.
" Out with my friend? "
" Oh really? Is that friend maybe a guy named Austin Milan? " He rolled his eyes and Waited for an answer.
" I don't know? "
He laughed at my answer.
" You can't hang out with that dude Penelope. "
I shrugged my shoulders and walked past him.
" I fucking mean it Penelope! "

-----The next day, after noon----

I was standing in front of my wardrobe with a towel around my body. What to wear?...
A dress? Or is that to overdressed? Mabye jeanse? That's a safe card! But maybe too casual...I picked out a light blue hollister dress. This is perffff! I putted it on and I looked fabulous! My white low converse matched it.
My hair was naturally down and I stole my mums mascara. I looked back into the mirror and I looked good.
My phone vibrated and the I.D was Austin.

I think I'm ready.
My parents have been looking at new homes the whole day.
Nick hasn't been home since our talk last night.
I walked downstairs and tooked out a bottle of water from the fridge. " Come here Pen " I heard my dad said from the living room. Mum and dad was sitting next to each other and was looking at the computer.
" Where do you wanna live? "
I got closer to the screen and I saw one apartment and one cute little house.
" Who is living in the house? "
" Your dad "
" Oh...I am going to choose the apartment " dad smiled big and my mum smirked.
" You and your brother won't live together " my dad said.
" your brother will move to San Antonio and its 60 minutes from here "
" Why can't I live with him? "
" Because we want you close "
" Bu-"
* Ding dong *
It must be Austin. I picked up my brown leather bag and ran to the door. I opened the door and his was really cute. He had this black vans SnapBack, white vans t-shirt, black ripped jeanse and of course black vans. He was really cute.
" Hello there cutie " he gave me a red rose and hugged me.
" Thank u! " I ran inside the house again and picked up a vase so I could put the rose In.
" Let's go! " I closed the door after me and we walked to his car.
" So where are we going? "
" It's a surprise "
He started the car and turned up the radio.
