Location: Zaphnath-Darkhaven base

Adm. Yelland is at the new base with Samuel, playing chess, and Sean gave them infos about Hiro Kaguera via email. Samuel discussed the situation with Adm. Yelland which gave them a hint on their who the Crimson Moth's leader is. The two continue to play the chess while doing their job to observe the operations around the base. It has anti air missiles, transport helicopters, attack helicopers, and Harrier jump jets to provide protection from any potential threats.

Michael Benitez came to visit the joint base with his his cousin, Arvin, to show him their join base. Arvin is curious about their base and Michael old him that Gabriel made this base, who is also his cousin from the other side. He is close to Gabriel and he goes with him when he visits his hometown. Michael shows Arvin some of the military equipments at the base, which includes the Iron Dome and the S400 anti air missiles.

Arvin: This base is fully equipped.

Michael: You cousin prefers to be that way.

Arvin: As expected...

The two visited Samuel, who is playing chess with Adm. Yelland while observing the operations, and talk to him about the updates of the situations. As the Vice President, Samuel is in charge of the whole operations that was left by Gabriel. Meanwhile Isayas called Samuel to ensure the intelligence that came from Gabriel and Sean for them to analyze.

Samuel: You know this guy is more thratening than what you expect but you know we can beat his ass as we can.

Isayas: Sure..

Samuel: We have our forces ready anytime, we have the air defenses here and some offense weapons.

Isayas: Aye, sir

Samuel is busy with Adm. Yelland and they stopped playing with Samuel winning the Chess thrice. It's nothing for Adm. Yelland since it's just a game but they need to focus on their duties in Zaphnath Force. Meanwhile, Maevwatt has arrived at the base to visit it and he's surprised that the base is armed to teeth. He is reading a book about military history during WW2 and he picked up a Lee Enfield rifle for practice. He begins to fire the rifle at the target and Samuel noticed him but he didn't mind Maevwatt.

Maevwatt: Sam, what do you think of my shot?

Samuel: Looking good...

Maevwatt: Thank you, Sammy.

Samuel: You're welcome, Maevwatt.

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

Hiro is preparing to send the Shinano to Palawan to conduct an airstrike against Zaphnath's port in there where the ZF Victory and its FSG are being homeported. The battleship and its fleet, however, have left and went for a patrol on South China Sea to look for any ships of the Crimson Moths. The ZF Fantom and its fleet are also present in the area, the Hiro would be unaware of what they are going to face before they could reach there.

Location: Zaphnath-Darkhaven base

Maewwatt and Samuel are eating snacks together, thinking of some defensive plans against the Crimson Moths and some future operations. Maevwatt has brought the Lee Enfield rifle with them and puts it beside the table so that he can see it right there and Sam is laughing at him for bringing the rifle with them. They just continued eating together while sharing a laugh while Maewatt is being cocky towards him.

Maewatt: It's fun to shoot someone with this

Samuel: It is, but be careful

Maewatt: I know that

The two have finished eating and returned to the base after. Samuel continued to play chess with Adm. Yelland to relieve their stress from the ongoing joint operations against Hiro and the Crimson Moths. Maevwatt continued to practice his firing with the Lee Enfield for his own pleasure.
