The sleep Third fell into was restless. His mind appeared at the dreamy place where his omega lived. Third walked through the bush, following the sound of water. Soon the familiar scenery welcomed him. He strode closer to the waterfall, crossing the small pond over the large stones and headed to the small rock protrusion. His face lit up with a smile, seeing the light grey wolf lying on the bed of moss. Third quietly settled beside him, letting the animal place his head on his lap. They stayed quiet for a while, enjoying the sounds of nature.
"I am confused." Third, decided to speak his mind. The wolf huffed in understanding.
"How can he be in love with me? When did I miss the signs?"
"Sometimes we can't see what is right in front of our eyes because we are too focused on the unimportant things." His wolf answered.
"Do you think he's lying?" Third's eyes focused on the falling water, observing the foam forming on the surface.
"The alpha loves us." The grey animal moved its head, nudging Third's hand with its muzzle. Third, understood the gesture and started scratching the wolf's head.
"I wanted this for so long, and now, when it's finally happening I am scared."
"Accepting our fear is the first step to happiness." The wolf said. Third nodded, his inner omega was too smart for his own good.
"Our Alpha loves us, and we love him. Let's trust him." He added before he shifted, turned his head slightly and closed his eyes. Third's fingers slid through the soft fur, smiling at the satisfied animal.
"Hmm. Let's try it." Third agreed.
