Author's note: Part 9/??

Prem enjoyed the time he spent with Ten. The young doctor was easy to talk with, and Prem felt comfortable around him. When Ten had to leave, Prem couldn't help but feel sad. He absentmindedly prepared everything for today's lunchtime before the restaurant opened.

"About what is my grandson daydreaming?" His grandmother's voice pulled him out of the thinking.

"I am not." Prem shook his head, focusing on the brot gurgling on the stove.

"So it has nothing to do with a handsome young man that just left?" She pushed more. Prem's cheeks turned bright red.

"You heard us?" He asked, embarrassed, that he was caught with a stranger.

"I even peeked at you." She confirmed. Prem gasped at his grandmother's boldness.

"Don't blame me... I am an old curious woman." She shrugged. The small kitchen fell into silence. Prem tried to calm down, and not look at the old woman.

"What's his name? Job? Where did you find him?" She bombarded him with questions.

"Grandma, stop," Prem whined.

"Why? He looked like a nice, wholesome man. You should go for him."

"Grandma!" Prem was horrified.

"What are you talking about? Ten is my student." He glanced at his grandmother.

"Ten... Nice name..." The woman nodded approvingly. Prem groaned. Sometimes, he couldn't believe his grandmother talked like a teenager, pushing him to the first man she found interesting. Not that Ten didn't catch Prem's attention, but it was inappropriate to seek a relationship with his student. Not to mention, Prem didn't know if the handsome doctor swung the same way.

"Honestly, luk. You two looked good together. And I like him better than Changma." She added. Prem picked up the spoon and stirred the soup.

"You don't even know him, Grandma. And P'Ma is a nice man." He sighed.

"I didn't say he isn't. I just don't like him for you." She shrugged.

"Grandma, how many times do I have to tell you that we are just friends?" Prem pouted.

"Whatever sails your boat, honey. But he doesn't want to be just your friend. Trust this old woman." She patted his shoulder, leaving him to his task. Prem sighed again. There was no way his friend liked him.
