Farah's POV
"Uuwi na kami."
"No." aniya habang naghihiwa ng patatas. He's cooking for us. Sabi nya ay dito na daw kami kumain.
"Listen, I— I will tell them the truth, alright? Just give me time."
"Sit down."
"Phoenix—"
"Just f*cking shut up and sit down, Farah. I am controlling my anger to you while I am infront of my children. Don't test it." mahina at galit nyang ani sa akin.
Agad akong napalingon sa tatlo na naglalaro di kalayuan sa amin. I sighed.
Napagdesisyunan ko na lang na puntahan sila. I tried to play with them. Pero ang isip ko ay na kay Phoenix.
I didn't expect this. What if hindi ako pumayag na sumama kay Madam Victoriana? Siguro hindi mangyayari ito.
"Is he courting you, Mommy?" tanong ni Calyx. Umiling ako.
"No, he's just a friend." ngumuso ito.
"Actually, I— I kind of like him for you."
"Ha?"
"It's your eyes, Mommy. There's different glow in your eyes while you are looking at him." napaawang mga labi ko. Five years old ba talaga ang kausap ko?
"H-how can you say that, Calyx? You're too young. Don't say things like that." napansin naman agad kami ni Faria.
"Mommy, this house has an aircon. Di naman po mainit. Why is your face so red?" takang tanong ni Faria.
"Well, I—"
"Mommy is blushing." tukso ni Pixes. Napapikit na lang ako.
"Come to the dining area. I already cooked your lunch." ngumiti samin— sa mga bata si Phoenix.
Iginaya ko sila papuntang dining area. Nagkatinginan kami ni Phienix pero agad din syang nag iwas ng tingin.
"Wow, it's so good, Tito Phoenix! I now love Mexican dishes!" Faria exclaimed.
Nasa tatlong putahe ata ang hinain nya. Puro mga Mexican food yun.
"Of course, you have the blood of a Mexican afterall." nabitawan ko ang kutsara't tinidor.
"How did you know? Sinabi po ni Mommy sa inyo?" Calyx asked.
"Yes, I told him." nag igting ang panga nito.
"So, we are a mix of Filipino, Australian and Mexican." nagbilang pa si Pixes sa mga daliri nya.
"What if your father is still alive?" nanlalaki ang mga matang bumaling ako kay Phoenix.
"Then, we will be happy! Very happy."
"We will have a complete family."
"We will have a Mommy and Daddy, we cannot ask for more."
Napangisi si Phoenix at masamang tumingin sa akin.
"Tomorrow." mahinang ani ni nito sa akin.
Alam ko ang ibig sabihin nun. Gusto nyang sabihin ko sa kanila na sya ang ama ng mga ito.
Ako na ang nagligpit at naghugas ng mga pinagkaininan namin. Pa sulyap sulyap ako sa apat habang ginagawa iyon.
"Sleep here." padabog kong inilagay ang plastic na plato sa lalagyanan.
"No."
"D*mn it, Farah! Don't be f*cking stubborn. Dito kayo matutulog and that's final."
"Ayoko, Phoenix. May bahay kaming sarili. Hindi kami matutulog dito."
"Why? Is it too small for you? I can buy a big house right now if you want me to." I hissed.
"Pwede ba, Phoenix! Uuwi kami sa bahay ko—"
"At malalaman ko na lang kinabukasan na umalis na kayo? Don't fucking lie to me, Farah. Alam kong ayan ang plano mo."
Napalunok ako. He's right. Plano kong umalis dito sa syudad, itatakas ko ang triplets.
"Don't be so confident because you have Demitris and that Centillion backing you up. You have a Salvatorre who will punish you if you ever do something that I don't f*cking like." umigkas ang palad ko at malakas syang sinampal. Buti na lang wala ang triplets dito at nasa kwarto ng ama nila.
"I am not your wife. Hindi mo ako pagmamay ari. Anak ko rin ang tatlo. Wala kang karapatan na sabihan ako ng ganyan. And to punish me? I am not the same Farah who will be afraid everytime I hear that. Yes, I gave in to you several days ago but that's it. Hindi na mangyayari yun. Also, there's also one thing that I want to say to you. D*mn you, Phoenix. Just d*mn you!" ngumisi ito habang hawak ang pisngi na sinampal ko.
"I promised myself that I will not hurt you physically, Farah. Be thankful." I sneared. Bumaba ang tingin nito sa sinapupunan ko.
"I f*cking hate that fact that you are carrying that Centillion's child with you— but, it is not the child's fault." tumingin ito ng diretso sakin.
"I will use you after you gave birth. Kaya habang buntis ka, I want you to stay here and the triplets with me. I will take care of you."
