Chapter 4 - Boat ride

Venus was staring at the horses that were pulling the carriages for older years. They looked...weird to say the least. Ugh, he's so glad they're boating this year. Unfortunately, he is stuck with those INFURIATING main characters...he looks at Mercury, who's leaning over the side of the boat, almost falling in. Venus smirked, an idea forming in his mind. What if he...scared Mercury a little bit...

Venus reached his hand towards Mercury and slapped it on Mercury's shoulder, earning a squeal and Mercury falling into the water, luckily Venus has grabbed onto the shoulder of Mercury's robes, and Venus had a STRONG grip. He pulled Mercury onto the boat, Mercury had glared at Venus and slapped him, earning a push back. This mini fight went on until Venus also fell out of the boat with a scream.
The Weasley and Potter were watching with concern at the two planethumans fighting on a boat,
"Bloody 'ell those two (tew) are mad!" Ron hissed, Harry nodded as he continued to row, choosing to ignore the crazy idiots.
"Fucking BASTARD!" Mercury hissed, getting a kick on the shin from Venus.
"Pipsqueak!!"
"I'M NOT EVEN THAT MUCH SHORTER THAN YOU!!?"
"PIPSQUEAK!!!!"

Earth and Mars were watching the two idiots fight, rowing slowly, they were on a boat with Hermione and Neville, who were ignoring the fighting and just rowing and chatting to eachother about what houses they think they're going to be in,
"I think I'd like to be in Gryffindor! What about you Neville?"
"Uhm...Hufflepuff is probably going to be my house..." the shy boy muttered,
Earth, being egocentric, butted in;
"I want to be a Gryffindor!!" He said happily, Mars rolling his eyes at Earth's interest in a conversation that doesn't involve him,
"Hufflepuff." Mars stated plainly.
Earth looked at Mars in betrayal.
"Not with me??"
"I've heard the chaamracteristucs in Gryffindor and i have NONE of those."
"....eh, to be fair...that is true."
"...wowwww."
"What? It's my job as your BEST friend to point out your flaws."
"Well, I do hope that if you're in Gryffindor you will continue to uphold its perfect reputation!" Hermione said as she raised her head and appeared rather arrogant and full of herself.
"...yeahhh...okayyy...whatever." Mars, did not care.
"Mmmmkay" Earth hummed, before engaging in a conversation with Mars, about the two sillies fighting.
"Who d'ya think is gonna win?" Earth whispered, "I think Venus."
Mars snorted, "Don't be ridiculous, if anything Mercury has higher chances winning on a BOAT due to his height."
"Eh, true."
"20." Mars said, a grin on his face.
"Hm?"
"Betting 20."
"Alrightie, I'll bet...30!" Earth thought about the odds...Venus would win.

He lost.

"NOO!?" Earth gasped as Venus feel off the boat.
"Knew it!" Mars grinned, "Shorties win in these situations!!"
"Ugh! That is so unfair!!!" Earth whined, knowing he owed THIRTY to Mars!!

Neptune was rowing, with the help of Uranus, they were both working on one oar because Uranus was half asleep and Neptune was just not feeling up for putting effort in, Draco was rowing, occasionally looking at the cousins in interest, they seemed to be closer than regular cousins, around the same closeness of siblings, maybe even the closeness of twins. Hm, he looke at Blaise who was having the time of his life on the boat, he would sometimes scoop water up with his hand and throw it at Draco, resulting in him throwing water back and it was like that for a while, the two boys expected to become the next prodigies in their families, playing like little kids. This caught the attention of Neptune who smiles at the two's joy, what? He may stupid, but he's smart enough to spot some neglected kids acting their age. He sighed happily, and continued rowing, allowing Uranus to continue resting his head on his shoulder.

Uranus was rowing the boat, same oar as Neptune, but his gaze kept slipping to a certain planet who was across the lake from him.
Earth.
He was just so majestic and beautiful. Ah! Now that there's no need for orbits, him and Earth can become closer!! The two were already quite close as Earth often sent letters to Uranus, who rarely sends any back, but when he does the letter always includes either artwork, diamonds or an asteroud thats been painted to look like other planets (Earth had a huge collection and often plays with Luna using the asteroids as figurines, he loved the gifts Uranus would send). Uranus kept watching Earth, smiling happily. He loved him. He really did, but how would the Earth respond to Uranus' feelings? Disgust? Hate? Would their friendship be over? The least he could do to make himself happy was become a good friend to Earth (Earth already thinks of Uranus as his close friend). Earth suddenly waved, confusing Uranus who waved back, only then did he realize he was caught staring, Uranus went a bright red and looked away, missing the smile of adoration sent his way by Earth.

Earth smiled at Uranus who turned away from him, what a cutie...

And yes, there are diamonds on Uranus' surface.
