I woke up feeling a lot better. It was around 4am. I knew because no one was up yet. I grabbed my notebook and headed to the couch in the common area.
I started thinking about my parents.
You know... they kinda, like, shipped us off.
I mean... what's more important than your own children?
Work.
But why?
Maybe they were tired of us.
DUH
Maybe... Maybe not.
Ari came by choice. She likes this. No way are they upset with her. I must have been a burden.
This is good though. I have so much more to write about now.
Were we just bored? Stuck in the same house?
We've been training to get on the girls basketball team all summer. I wouldn't call that bored.
THAT WAS ONLY A FEW WEEKS.

We're getting off track.
WAS THERE A TRACK?
I wonder what their job is...
Something that makes a lot of money if we're at Jurassic freaking World.
Maybe they couldn't handle watching me. If Ari came here by choice and they had a business trip then where else would I be?
Better question: Where is the business trip?
Who knows? Who cares? All that matters is that we make the most of the opportunity we have.
Oh? That was very inspiring. I should be a therapist.
HELL NO.
I sigh and open up my notebook. It was best to start writing what happened yesterday down. Not many details, especially after I passed out, but just enough for me to have a story.

Ariana's POV
Roxie and Dave were trying to contact Mrs. Dearing.
Spolier alert: That didn't happen.
"New plan: We do this in person," Roxie states.
"I'm sorry, are you saying we leave the kids here alone?" Dave starts.
"Our kids?" I ask.
"The kids who seem determined to get themselves trampled and/or eaten?" I continue.
"Those are the kids of which you speak?" Dave finished.
"We won't be gone long. If we leave now, we can be back in an hour or two, tops," Roxie states.
"I'll leave a note," Dave scoffs.
I messed with the small gem on my necklace.
I can't leave Y/N here alone. Or the other kids. Especially Brooklynn, Darius and Kenji. They have caused so much trouble in only two days.
Dave placed a hand on my shoulder.
"You heard Roxie. We'll be quick," Dave reassured.
I nodded and he kissed my cheek.
