"I miss home." Halo pouted as she got in bed. "Nigga we is home. This what you wanted."
"Still... I miss our family. We used to see them at least twice a week. This gone be a big adjustment." She sighed
"Yea, niggas lonely cause a you." Saint side eyed her. "We both needed to stay out the streets and this is the only way we would."
"Type shit"
Saint never lived far from his mom and siblings. Even though they didn't see each other every single day they weren't far.
So for all of them this would be a big adjustment.
"I know you're gonna be mad but I bought you a new laptop. It's gonna be here some time this week."
"Why would I be mad about that?" He scoffed "Because you're going to college."
"Says who?" Saint cackled "Me and your mom. We paid your tuition for two years at a community college."
"How y'all just gone force that on me? Who said that's what I wanted?" He questioned "It's what's best for you. You're a father now and no man of mine is gonna be a bum or back in jail over some street shit."
"Ian never been no bum shawty you tweakin. What's my major?"
"I don't really know cause your mom picked it. I know it has stuff to do with technology because you're good with that stuff."
It's not that Saint couldn't afford college because he could but Halo and his mom wanted to pay for it because if they left everything up to him then it would never get done.
"Thanks I guess. I'm grown though and I can make my own decisions. Next time fall back a lil bit and let me handle my shit the way I want to. I know yo heart was in the right place but youn run me Tianna."
"I'm sorry- I wasn't trying to upset you Kam I just wanted better for you, that's all." Halo pouted a little then she left the room.
Saint still wasn't used to her being so emotional so half the time he didn't know how to comfort her.
"Major!" He yelled but not too loud. Seconds later, Major ran in the room with Ghost right behind him. "Yes dad?"
"Go tell your mom to come back or we gone jump her."
"Okay"
After Major left, Saint sat on the floor with Ghost and pet him. He then decided to trim his nails before giving him a bath.
"You a big ass baby." Saint chuckled when he laid in his lap. "What?" Halo asked as she entered the room.
"You done crying crybaby?"
"No" She sniffed "How you crying cause I told you how I felt? I wasn't yellin' at you or nun."
"I thought I was doing something good for you and you don't even appreciate it."
