Marga went through the window first to check if there were any signs of Caden and Valia being here but she found nothing.

The plan was to pull them through the window and escape but my dad wasn't that stupid.They were probably in a basement. The door was locked so Marga worked on opening it as I stood by the wall preparing to fight anyone around.

She opened the door and I threw a punch straight to the first figure I saw.
I missed and she pointed a gun to my abdomen.It was Kel. Nath was behind her.

"You would have been dead by now. Don't ever miss again." She whispered.

She pointed her hand down the corridor telling us to take that path while she and Nath went down the stairs.

Marga and I did as she said but we saw a trail of blood that way so we followed it. It led to a white painted door that read 'Operation Room'. Marga looked at me because we were both confused.

"I thought it was a guest house or something?"

"That man can do anything." Marga whispered.

I stood close to the side of the door and Marga opened it.

The room was dark so I turned on the flashlight. A small figure pounced on Marga straining her.

"Valia?" I questioned when I noticed the ring on her pinky finger.

I couldn't see her face or make her out because her hair was shaved and there was blood all over her body and clothes. The bruises on her skin were a lot too.

"Valia...Valia..Valia stop!" I pulled her off Marga and hugged her. She kept struggling and hitting me until I started singing the song my mom used to sing. She calmed down after a while.

"Rhiannon.."

"Yes?"

"My brother...Caden is..he.." She started crying.

"Shhh... it's okay... we'll find him." I assured.

She shook her head 'no'.

"We will okay? We have to go n-"

"Caden is not there. He's... he's gone."

"Valia..no..we have to go find him. We shouldn't waste time."

"Rhia-" Marga interrupted.

"No! No! He's alright. We will find him. We will."

I picked up the flashlight, held Valia and left the room with Marga following.

We walked down the stairs but Kel and Nath weren't there. I noticed another blood trail. This was more and it seemed like someone was dragged across the floor.

Valia held my arm tight when I took a step towards the blood trail direction. I took a deep breath and followed it. It led to an area where there was a pool.

"I see you really love your little weak boyfriend and my old love. You were supposed to be on my side." My dad said from upstairs looking at Valia.

"Old love?What do you want? That's what I keep asking you. Why do you do this?"

"Just for fun." He laughed.

"And yes..V is my old love."

What is he talking about?

"Do you know him?" Valia asked.

I nodded.

"How? Why are you even here?"

"He's my father."

"What?" Her eyes widened.

"You want your little boyfriend, right?" He held Caden by his neck showing his face to me. He was covered in blood too. His face was swollen and one eye was oozing with blood.

Caden smiled and closed his eyes.

"Get him." He threw him off the balcony into the pool.

"No!!" Valia and I screamed rushing towards the pool.

Marga jumped into the pool and pulled him out.

I stood there for a while.

Maybe it was someone else. It couldn't be him. It couldn't be Caden.

Valia dropped to the floor.

Please don't be him...please.

When I saw his face, my heart ached. Why was my dad so cruel?

I loved him. I loved Caden.

Marga tried CPR and all I could do was watch. I couldn't even cry.

I left him all alone. I couldn't say my last goodbye...and now, he lay there lifeless and cold.

I got closer to him and tried the CPR again.

"C'mon please...Caden!!! Wake up!! Wake up!!!! Please...ple..please wake up." I couldn't handle it.

He's the only one that I had left. Someone that I loved so much.

"He's gone Rhiannon." Valia hugged me and cried. What was I going to do? What would I do? What?

Rhiannon sat with a girl hugging her by the pool. Marga was also sitting close by. A guy was lying in front of Rhiannon and they were all silent but the girl was crying.

When I got closer...the guy looked terrible and he wasn't breathing. Rhiannon was everywhere else but here. Her eyes looked dead but she wasn't crying.

I mouthed "where's he?" to Marga and she pointed upstairs. I told Marga to leave with Rhiannon and the girl.

"Nath, call the other girls. We'll go get that monster." I left with Nath to find him. We weren't letting him go this time.

When we got upstairs, he was sitting on the floor drinking and crying.

Yes..crying.

"I know I'm going to die today. I loved your mother. I loved you and Valia too...but you guys stopped me from loving Rhiannon and so you have to pay."

"I can't believe you. I can't believe you'd say this as a father. You never loved us. You were only doing what you wanted because of your selfish desires...you don't deserve to live."

"He could hurt you." Nath held my shoulders because I was getting closer to him.

He laughed.

He laughed?!!!

"I don't deserve to live. And none of us here deserve to live too. You,Nath, Rhia, Marga, Valia, Caden and his parents? None. Nobody."

How does he know Nath?

"Nath used to work for me."

I turned to face Nath.

"Used to...I don't anymore." He raised his hands up in surrender.

"He betrayed me. Just like all of you. So let's all die together...as a family." He laughed again.

He lit a match and dropped it on the floor.

Guys...this chapter was hard for me to write...Caden wasn't supposed to die...he was good. I almost cried.
