neptune
I remember one summer, meeting a stranger online.
we chatted with no names, and it felt just fine
a soul from afar, that came into view,
comfortable and kind, so a friendship quickly grewin a world of likes and chats, he's different, you see
no facebook, no snapchat, instagram's not his spree
with some worries in his heart, he's kind of shy to display,
but in a random talk, he's good and kind in his own special way.he said he wants to go to Neptune, what a faraway land,
where his worries vanish, like grains of sand
unlike others, we shared our names with ease,
and in those online talks, I found comfort and peace.he's such a good friend, more than I guessed,
but life got busy, so our talks became less.
after that summer, our chats grew rare,
but I always knew we support each other with care.and now he just suddenly crossed my mind,
it's been a while, but in my inbox he's easy to find
so I want to check in, hoping he's doing fine,
a friend so dear that I just met online.where our paths can finally run, I hope we'll meet soon.
underneath the same sun, and beneath the same moon.///
