There he was. Walking towards me. He was getting closer, and closer.
“Raine!” He called out “please don’t go! Don’t do this to me!”
What was he talking about? Why on earth would I be leaving him? That’s the last thing I would want.
His walk now became a run.
“Raine? Are you listening to me? Please. Please don’t do this!”
“Just don’t” I heard my voice respond, and I turned to walk in the opposite direction. “You should have listened to him, and stayed away!” It was as if someone else was controlling my body, and my voice. I had no control what-so-ever over my actions right now.
“Please Raine!” He was still chasing me, but it seemed like he was never going to reach me. Like it was an impossible task. “wake up Raine, just wake up…”
What?
His voice drifted away, and soon became inaudible.
“Wake up Raine! Get yo lazy ass outa bed girl!” A voice boomed inside my head
Wait…The guy, the running, it had all been a dream…It was strange, I had been having dreams similar to this for the last month or so…
“Noooo” I grumbled and rolled over.
“Yes! We have to be at the mall in an hour!”
Huh?
I felt a pair of hands grab me, and before I could do anything I was rolled onto a hard surface. Ouch.
“What the hell!” I screeched, thrown out of my dreamland and into reality.
My eyes flew open, and I was greeted with my best friends face only centimetres from my own.
“We now have…” She trailed off and glanced at her pink digital clock “55 minutes until we need to be at the mall” she grinned “Come on, hurry up! You wanna look nice don’t you? You never know who we might run into…” she wiggled her eyebrows at me and smirked
“Oh shutup, shouldn’t you be getting ready too, since you’re so eager to get there on time” I stuck my tongue out at her “And for the record, that thing you do with your eyebrows…is really creepy…and un-cool”
“Don’t hate on the eyebrows, Raine! You’re just jealous” She giggled “Oh, and I got ready without you! You’re just too bloody hard to wake up early”
“Whatever” I hit her arm playfully “Just come and help me pick out some clothes…After all, you never know who we might run in to” I quoted her, and grinned
“Exactly! So let’s get crackin’!”
