Urgent Care was useless. After 3 hours of mostly waiting, they determined I did in fact have a concussion. So I was sentenced to 2 days of bed rest, and 2 weeks of no school work. Jacob, Ethan, and Eric are suspended for 3 days. Now, I know this is going to sound absurd, but Trevor did not get any punishment even with Mr. Abbott's newfound interest in this case.

Today is day one of my imprisonment. I woke up feeling like crap. My head was spinning and my vision slightly less doubled. I stumbled out of bed and poked my head out my door to see if anyone was home. As I expected, it was only me.

I snatched my robe and towel and started the water. Stripping out of my pj's, I stared at myself in the mirror. My eyes looked tired and dead inside. My head looked unproportional compared to my broad shoulders and large arms. My waist looked slim from the front but it bulged out in a very obvious way that ruined the chances that people would think I'm just muscular. Every limb looked twice the size it should. I hate my body. I try to stay active but my schedule doesn't allow it and I'm too lazy to start a workout routine.

My right breast looked slightly bigger than the left. My chest and arms were covered in scars from my picking at scabs and pimples. The stretch marks all over the bottom of my stomach, so big they looked like scars. My gaze hovered on the dark purple spots littering my upper body and thighs. The hickeys left on my breasts after that day in the bathroom. The bruises still healing from when I tried to run from them before they stole my virginity.

I sighed and hopped in the shower. I spent much longer than usual, letting the water run down my back as if it would wash away my worries. A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts.

"You still alive in there? I don't think we are close enough for me to help you with that."

I laughed, and turned off the water. "Yeah, I'm sorry I was just thinking. Wait! Why are you here?"

"Well, I'm suspended and there aren't many places I can go, so I decided to get revenge on the person who got me in trouble. I'll stop bugging you so you can get dressed and stuff." I could imagine him sporting a cheeky grin behind that door.

I dried off my legs and wrapped my hair in a towel. Slipping on my robe I made sure my bathroom was presentable. I entered my room and mentally patted myself on the back for cleaning it recently. Jacob was nowhere to be seen. I grabbed a sage tank top and jeans out of my closet and disappeared into the bathroom again. I emerged and threw away some candy wrappers that were on the floor as well as some other small items before heading downstairs to find Jacob.

I found him in the kitchen grilling some bacon.

"As much as I love the smell, I don't want to call the fire department again." I said as I turned on the fan.

"Do you like your bacon crispy or soft?"

"Both," I smirked.

"I got this!" He said with a grin.

I smiled, "While you try not to burn the house down, I'm going to go dry my hair." I turned to leave but he grabbed my hand.

"No, I'll help you with that after you eat breakfast."

"But-"

"Come on, it's almost done. I just don't want to be sued when you crack your head open, because I wasn't there to catch you." I rolled my eyes.

He went back to cooking but never let go of my hand.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine,"

"That's not what I asked."

"What do you mean? You wanted to know how I feel, I feel fine."

"No, you think I asked you what you wish you felt. I want to know how you are feeling." He looked at me with those magical hazel eyes with his award winning smile. I looked away for a second, I don't know, I feel something, but what is it? I turned back.
