Jacob left for school a few hours ago. He told me to study and stay in bed. He also hired someone to deliver lunch to me.
The poor kid had to deal with me being a brat and refusing to eat. He was really nice, but I was pissed.
I heard my phone buzz and I picked it up to see that Jacob was on the other side. I sighed but answered.
"Hello-"
"Why the hell aren't you eating your lunch?" He shouted into the phone.
"I'm not hungry." I rolled my eyes. "I tried eating some but I don't feel good. I'll eat it later."
"No, you're going to eat it right now. Don't make me come back and force you!"
I sighed. "There's no need for that. We have a big test in Chemistry today."
"Eat. Your. Lunch." I looked over at the Panera order. He got me chicken noodle soup, an apple, and a croissant.
"Can I eat the apple and then the rest of it later?"
"At least half of the soup."
"Quarter."
"Hannah, don't argue with me on this."
He didn't call me Dia.
"Sorry."
"Just eat the soup and text me when you're done."
"Ok. Have fun in class."
"It's IB Chem, that word doesn't exist in that class." I smiled.
"See you later, loser."
"See you later, princess." I hung up on him. Jerk.
I ate the apple and set the soup down next to me. It smelled good but my stomach was too grumpy for that.
Me: I ate the apple :l
Jacob: The soup?
Me: Not yet
Jacob: I'm coming.
Me: You have a test!
I got no response. I clicked the call button. He picked up on the third ring.
"What?"
"Go to class! I'm going to eat it, I'm just taking my time!"
"That sucks. I'm 2 minutes away."
"The school is 10 minutes from here!"
"Yup." He hung up on me. I sighed, shaking my head.
Jacob's room has a TV on the wall. I was rewatching Liv & Maddie.
Sure enough, 2 minutes later. The door flew open and Jacob stormed over. He pulled a stool up to my bed and opened the soup bowl. It smelled so good! He sighed and glared at me.
"You didn't have to leave school for me. I was going to eat it."
He rolled his eyes. "You are going to eat it right now."
He pulled out a spoon and passed the bowl to me. I made a face but set it in my lap. I stared at it. It looked so good, but deep down I felt like I really shouldn't eat it. "If I eat this and I throw up, it's your fault."
"You will not throw up." He said, clearly sick of this conversation.
I lifted a spoon shakily and slowly started eating. About 4 spoons in, I felt a large discomfort in my stomach. I could feel the bile coming up my esophagus. I set the soup down on the nightstand and tried to stand up. Jacob stopped me and wrapped his arms around me.
