Conversing the road, Cooper finds himself suckling the sand from his shoes. Trying to tap out the sand debris, as a indirect hole in the side of his shoe.
Swallowed up from grains of sand, as his foot got buried.
As he taps his foot, he sighs aggravated.
"Goddamnit in this fucking hot hell." He stands, his arms flared. Gathering his balance, he latches down and tears away his boot aggressively. Tossing it upside down.
A bile of sand pours out, all being stuck to his bare foot, wrapped in a withered black sock. With the biggest hole at his heel.
His foot floating in the air, he drops his boot, leaning down, putting his foot back in again. Pulling it up better.
He arches up, putting his hand on his hat. Soldering from the absolute monstrosity of the weather, the sun glaring even more as it was a few hours ago, on his journey.
He walks further, following the path he took plenty of times.
He was familiar with everywhere he went, he had enough time to travel great distances. However he decided not to. He had too much unfinished business in California, he remained put.
He came to another stand still, realising he was more closer than ever to Filly.
Taking out his bag, he swaddles his canteen bottle with irradiated water. He could drink whatever he liked, he was practically immune to the radiation effects.
One pro of being a Ghoul. Except a con that some of his flesh was torn away. Slowly deteriorating due to the high amounts of irradiation that he has been exposed to.
He could just drink anything though, he didn't have to sterilise it. He could though to be a snotty bastard, however he choose not to.
As he's drinking, he latches it ontop of his mouth, not pressing it against his lips. Almost purposely pouring it all over his lower face. Trying to cool off.
As he's finished he screws the lid on tightly. Shaking the canteen, hearing the cackling sound of the metal, he realises he doesn't have that much water left.
He sees a deserted bathtub nearby in his view, searching for anything that could hold water droplets in from rain. Walking up to it he hopes to find anything. It does still rain in these wastelands. However when water drops it became instantly contaminated as high levels of radiation scurred the lands atmosphere.
There infact was water inside the tub, dirty water with floating bits of god knows what.
It was drinkable enough for him.
There was solely enough for him to lean down unscrew the top and dunk.
As he did so he huffs to himself "what a shitty tub".
His mockery of things still consisted even after his whole life was wiped, he still kept his charm. Nothing could take that away from him.
Leaning up from the tub, a man appears from a withered fallen down, wrecked building.
His arms up in the air, waving.
"Hello!!".
He immediately turns, facing the man in the distance, annoyed that he had infact came across another wandering dweller.
"For fuck sake." He mumbles under his breath rolling his eyes as he puts his canteen bottle into his bag. Latching it closed, while throwing it over his shoulder.
The man walks closer, his arms still up. Completely innocent, no weapon could be seen in sight.
However the most threatening man was Infront of the innocent dweller, with skills in weaponry so deadly, he could've immediately shot a bullet in-between the mans eyes within a second.
"I Need Your Help!".
The man waves his arms, blabbering like a fish. Frockling his arms like he is trying to swat a fly. Desperate for the one and only Ghoul to stop by and ask what help he needs.
Cooper completely ignores the man, he doesn't have to help this man.
Why should he?
He wasn't going to do it out of the good of his stone cold, irritated heart.
It was just some annoyance, he didn't want to kill the man either. Wasting a bullet for no absolute reason, he rather use it on someone with some importance.
Cooper was a hard shell, the once father figure, happy of everything, celebrating the love of his wife. Being turned to the killer he is, in the present time.
The man let's out a final yelp, disappointed that he was not going to receive help. As he seen the man that he first seen in ages past through here, turn his back on him.
"I have caps!...Anything, I need help!."
Cooper didn't need caps, he has plenty. His bounty work paid alot, he was practically more wealthier than he was before the bombs fell.
After divorcing his wife he used the last amount of cash he had from his acting career to approve of it. Getting equal custody for his daughter and all. Including suing Vault Tech for using his face for 'Vault Boy'. He didn't want to be associated with anything like that, essentially he didn't have anything left.
His wife not giving anything to him from spite, due to her important Vault Tec job, he had to work at children's parties. Just to feed his daughters mouth and his.
He hated it, he missed the comfort. However he wasn't going to sleep in the same bed of the woman who was working with a company, to completely wipe out civilization: in the name of becoming the best of all humankind. Keeping the money to themselves, so no wars can happen ever again as the worlds needing to sustain oil higs happened causing world wide fighting.
