TODAY WAS THE DAY OF THE FAIR
and the Shelby brother's were more than ready to attend there—as for the boys only.

"I want to join you.", whined Lucrecia, while watching her man walk around the kitchen a cigarette dangling from the her red painted lips.

Tommy sighed a bit,"We have business beforehand, me love, don't want you to be there for it."

"Why not?"

"It's the Lee's Amora.", he took a drag from his cigarette,"Never know if one them goes rabid and I would rather avoid you seeing me or another man like that."

Lucrecia huffed as she started to read her book on the table, ignoring his urging gaze.
Call her childish, but she was giving him the silent treatment and he didn't appreciate it one bit.

"Amora.",he stated, but received silence,"My love."
Pure silence—
"Baby please talk to me.", he now whined too.

"Now what's going on here.", John entered the room with a frown, seeing his brother's pleading look and Lucrecia's passive face.

"He doesn't want me to join you lot.", the blonde complained, closing her book and pouted at her best friend.

"Why the fuck not?", he exclaimed, looking at his brother with furrowed brows.

A groan escaped Tommy as he rubbed his eyes,"It's not safe."

"It never is.", John shrugged and Lu gave him a small thankful smile,"—but we are by her side, nothing will happen to her."

"No.", the Shelby stated firmly , looking between his younger brother and his woman,"She will stay here—that's final."

Lucrecia rolled her eyes and John sent her a apologetic look with a comforting smile.

"Come now John boy.", he ordered, before walking over to the blonde woman,"I love you, okay?"

She nodded at him and he kissed her forehead as goodbye, making her sigh.
The door soon closed and she groaned loudly.

"Come join me at church, me girl."

POLLY AND LUCRECIA WERE SEEN
lighting candles around a small altar.
While the aunt was fully believing in god and strictly went to church, Lucrecia was the opposite since her incident.
Now why would god allow something this cruel?

Soon they were interrupted by the doors opening, a man with a mustache and a black hat.

"Good day.", he started, taking in the two unfazed women, still minding their business.

"A gentleman would take out his head.", Polly stated, looking at him once,"And put out his pipe."
Soon a clinking followed, meaning the man followed her orders.
"See you special only dare come here when you know the boys are away at the fair."
