3rd Person POV
"W-What just happened?" Takuya asked.

"Don't you remember? You turned into some kind of Digimon and fought off that bad Digimon," Zoey said.

"Me? A Digimon? How did that happen?" The goggle-headed boy asked again.

"It's quite simple, really. It's called 'digivolution,'" Bokomon explained.

"'Digi-what,' now? Did I just press a button?" Takuya then tries pushing buttons on his D-Tector to see if he can digivolve again.

"C'mon, you! Turn me into a Digimon already!" He frustratedly grumbles. Suddenly, one of the buttons he pressed released the Fractal Code from his D-Tector.

"Fractal Code, rendered," the voice from the D-Tector spoke.

The Fractal Code then floated somewhere, and created a pathway that seemed to be broken once.

"W-What in the world just happened?" Minori asked in shock.

"D-Did I really do all of that?" Takuya asked.

Meanwhile, a male ravenette is on a different train, looking outside, witnessing the landmark's sudden reconstruction.

"What?" He said under his breath.

*Back to the others*

"Hurray! We don't have to keep sleeping in train stations anymore!" One of the Pagumon cheered. Then, everybody starts running.

"I'm quite impressed, human. I'm Bokomon, by the way," Bokomon introduced himself.

"And I'm Neemon. Nice to meet ya," Neemon did the same.

"As civilian of the Digital World, we give you our most humble thanks," Bokomon said.

"Uh, yeah. My name's Takuya," the goggle-headed boy said. "Honestly, I still get this stuff about Fractal Codes and all."

"Oh... So, you still don't know, do you?" Bokomon asked.

"Does anybody know why we're running again?" JP asked.

"I don't know," Minori said. Then, Bokomon took out a book.

"Our world was beautiful and peaceful. Well, until Cherubimon got in the picture. His destructive power started crumbling our world apart, and it was on the verge of dying," He explained. "And the only way to bring everything back before it all happened is by using the Fractal Code."

"So, I really did that with my little device," Takuya commented. Zoey then looked at her pastel purple D-Tector.

"Hey. If Takuya did it, maybe that means we could do it, too," she said. Minori also looked at her aqua colored D-Tector.

'Maybe that voice in our devices probably has a mission for us, but for what?' She thought.

JP thought of something and stops Tommy to talk to him while the others are walking ahead.

"Hey, kid. Do you think we should talk for a bit?" He asked.

*Meanwhile*

A Trailmon was riding on the tracks, and stopped at a nearby train station. Once the doors opened, the raven-haired boy came out.

*Back to JP and Tommy*

"Man. This place is a dump. You get me, don't ya, kid?" JP said to the short boy.

"Yeah, I guess, but," Tommy said.

"'But?' But what?" JP asked.

"Well, when I saw Takuya turn into a Digimon, he was pretty cool out there," Tommy commented. JP gave him a disgusted look.

"Oh, come on. He wasn't THAT cool," JP commented.

"Well, I just thought maybe, just maybe, I could be as cool as him someday," Tommy said.

"Look. All this talk about being heroes and all that is kinda overrated. Believe me. Don't you think it's too much for you?" JP commented. "Besides, you might get yourself a mean old bruise out there." Tommy frowned and looked down on himself.

"Well, I guess," he said.

"See? Now, you're getting it," JP said as he grabbed Tommy by the wrist. "Anyway, how do we get outta here?"

*Meanwhile (again!!)*

At the train station, as the Trailmon was about leave, the black-haired boy is currently looking down at his white and blue colored D-Tector, which has a voice speaking through it.

"Kouji Minamoto. You must begin your search," it said.

"My search? For what exactly?" The boy named Kouji asked.

"For the spirit," the female voice answered.

"And how the heck do you know my name?" He asked.

"You must find the spirit, and all of your questions will be answered," the voice from the D-Tector said.

"Hey. I'm not your little errand boy, alright?" He replied. "What's a Spirit anyway, and how do I look for it?"

Just then, his D-Tector starts beeping. Something appeared on the screen. It appears to be some kind of map, which shows the location of the Spirit.

"This is weird," Kouji mumbles.

"You're telling me," the Trailmon cuts in.

*to Tommy and JP*

Tommy and JP are walking around the train station. Then, they saw a Pagumon sitting alone.

"Hey. Maybe this little guy might know something," JP said. They both got closer to talk to the Pagumon.

"Hey, egg-shaped guy," he said, getting the Pagumon's attention.

"Look, we're not really, uh... accustomed to this world, okay? We just don't know how to leave," he explains. "Do you think you can help us out?" The Pagumon turned his head away from the two.

"Oh-kay. Then, how about this?" JP said as he dug inside his pocket for a candy bar. Once he got it out, he broke off a piece for the Pagumon.

"How about a piece of chocolate?" JP asked. The Pagumon looked at the chocolate piece, and leaped to take a bite.

"Alright. If you start talking, I'll give you the whole bar," JP offers. Once the Pagumon was done eating, he gave the two boys the answer they needed.

"It's simple, really. Just take Angle the Trailmon at the station," he said. "He might be able to take you back."

"Really?" Tommy asked with hope in his eyes.

"I'm a Digimon of my word," the Pagumon answered.

"Sweet! Thanks," JP said as he handed the Pagumon the rest of the chocolate before taking off the station with Tommy. Right before the two left, the Pagumon made a mischievous grin after he was done eating the chocolate.

"Good. I wonder how much more fun these humans would be?" The Pagumon chuckled.
