C H A P T E R 1

Mahlia Lived a normal life to everyone else's eyes as a sweet kindhearted girl who everyone just couldn't stay mad at since she had some sort of vibe that people just knew she was good.  But what people didn't know is Mahlia lived 2 life's one as Mahlia and one as Winter the biggest super hero who had ice powers, could make it snow, put someone in ice or shoot different water forms at them.  Only Rory knew about Mahlia's secret since she was also one herself, her name was Forest and she had the ability to control and communicate with animals.

Mahlia and her sister Rose are sat at home just waiting for something interesting to happen.
When their doorbell is rung Rory shots up to see who it is.

"Oh hi Hartley" said Rory
That caught Mahlia's attention

"We have new neighbours and i wanted to know if you wanna come with me and my Grandma Celia to meet them?"

Mahlia and Rory were more than happy to come so they all went down a couple houses to where the new family lives.

When the door opened the whole family was standing in the door way
"Oh look everybody it's our landlady Celia and her granddaughter Hartley and two other girls I didn't catch the name of." Says a blonde woman guessing it's the mother.

super stiff the family all says at the same time "Hello, landlady Celia and her granddaughter Hartley, and two other girls we don't know."

Hartley seemed to recognise a brunette girl standing with the family "You look really familiar do I know you from somewhere?"

"Uhhh you definitely do not!" says a boy in a blue beanie who looked like the youngest son.

Mahlia double looked the boy, something was not sitting right about him but of course she wasn't going to judge before she met him or any of the other family.

"Well we were just about to start family movie night." says the blond lady hinting for us to leave.

Celia making herself at home pushed through the family and makes her way to couch, "Great. What are we watching?" I love a good war movie."

The dad of the family speaks up, "On second thought we really should be getting some rest, we're still adjusting to the time difference here in Texas." The whole family lets out big yawns.

"Remind me where you're from again?" asks Celia.
The family continues to say all different states.

stepping in the mother says "We never stay in the same place too long."

"Well you're going to love Texas everyone's super friendly and I hope you love it as much as we all do." says Mahlia with a sweet smile to let the family know she's a nice girl.

The boy in the beanie eye rolls at her niceness.

What's his problem? thinks Mahlia, what did i ever do to him? But she brushes it off and try's not to make it affect her which is hard for her because everyone likes Mahlia, no one had a bad thing to say about her why would he already not like her?

"What brings you here anyways?" says Hartley

"Oh you know just needed a change."

The truth is the family where on the run, they weren't just any ordinary family, Two weeks ago they lived in a city called Centropolis, Surge the mother was about to get a Promotion from Onyx the top villain who was their boss. she had worked so hard to get the promotion

but instead Onyx promotes another villain

Out of anger Surge said she was going to tell Oynx that their family was done being villains
