C H A P T E R 1 4

MAHLIAS POV

i couldn't believe Eva and Vic has agreed to letting Rory and i be friends with the kids again. Unfortunately i don't think Amy wants to be friends still, got Jake and Colby back at least. i'll work on Amy.

Rory and i were meant to go to their house this morning like we use to every morning. i was so nervous walking up to the front door, even though i had seen them all since the fight.

luckily we where let in by Colby, he greeted Rory and I with the biggest smile and pulled me in for a hug, but quickly let go when Eva and Vic walked in.

"thankyou so much for trusting us again." i say to Vic and Eva

"we missed you, we can tell you guys weren't trying to harm us, we get it we wouldn't tell villains if we where superhero's either, if you wanted to hand us in you would have done it by now and we got scared when we saw Colby getting attached to you." Eva says

"i am not!" Colby defends

Amy walks in.

"mmmm you definitely where, you should have saw your face when mum and dad said you can't see Mahlia anymore." Amy buts in

"whatever." Colby rolls his eyes making eye contact with me

i was so happy to be back at the Maddens house

Amy and Jake had left to go deflate peoples tires, and Vic and Eva went into the kitchen leaving just me and Colby since Rory went off to Hartleys house

we sat there awkard

"sooo..." Colby looks around the room not knowing what to say

i get sick of the awkwardness and get straight to the point, "so what are we going to do?"

"what do you mean?"

"i still like you and there's no denying it, i don't wanna be friends." i say

"there's nothing we can do Mahl," Colby says firmly, "i like you too but one of us has to give up our job to be together and i can't let you do that and i'm not willing to do that."

he's right. i couldn't give up being a superhero, even though i felt like i was failing being a superhero by hiding the Maddens.

and i can tell all Colby has wanted is his chance to be a Villain.

"so that's it?" i ask

"guess so." Colby looks at his thumbs he was fiddling

"if that's what you want." I say in a quiet tone

Colby's POV

Is she serious? of course that's not what i want.

i can't stand this.

why can't my family trust me enough too not get us in trouble with Mahlia?

we've known her for months now, everyone was fine with us liking eachother a month ago, so what if she's a superhero she's still Mahlia
