"The rules to the duel are-" snape was saying and proceeded to go through the rules.
It was 5 minutes to midnight and Harry and James were in the wards while the whole Slytherin house was outside them..
"You may begin, " Snape said at the clock struck twelve.
James started shooting some powerful spells but harry blocked them and it was obvious that the first year had the upper hand as he was slowly building up the spells he was using, started to use offence more than defense after about half an hour when the soon to be 'ex-prince' was started to tire.
One of the terms was that the loser would become the jester who had to do what anyone in the house told then to and they could never apply to the Royal court again. They were the lowest in the house.
"Stupefy, " finished Harry and the wards went down.
"Our new Prince, Harry James Potter, " Snape said.
Everyone then went to their dorms, the ex-prince having gotten a normal dorm and all his stuff transferred there and Harry got the Prince dorm.
"Wow, " he said as he entered his new room with the other Royals.
