Desert Winds Academy for Superheroes

Chapter 6: Invasion: Part 1

"It's the Syndicate! They've got an army!" Longshot would yell down to Mr Montaro and Nightbolt, who both looked worried at what they saw. "Villains... this isn't good!" Mr Montaro would shake his head and look over to Longshot with concern. "Where are the students!?! Are they ok?"

Just then, a large bolt of lightning could be seen in the distance, and a group of criminals would fly into the air and hit the ground. Standing in the center would be Yokara Ankoku using his lightning powers to fight them off. Longshot would smirk and scream out to Mr Montaro. "Higa! Looks like Yokara has the right idea! We've gotta fight these guys and hope the students do the same! I say we split up and all take on the Syndicate. Nightbolt, you go to the control room and hit the alarm! We can call in the other heroes and end this fast!"

"Right!" Nightbolt and Higa Montaro would nod their heads and run to do their part with Nightbolt running to the control room, which was on the other side of the facility. Mr Montaro would fix himself before putting on his supersuit, which was a metallic suit with advanced technology. Tensai would take note of this and lean over to Kaii, who also saw Higa's suit. "Kaii, looks like Longshot and The Pheonix have arrived."

"Yeah, looks like so. Shinda! Kiyoshi! Do you two wanna go handle those two?" Kaii would cross his arms and look at two of his lieutenants. Kiyoshi would grin at the proposition of killing a pro hero, and Shinda would stretch, and the pair made their way toward the two heroes. Kaii would then look to Kōri and Ryomen. "You two take a group of these criminals and go find the control room. If we can control that, we can lock the building down, and nobody leaves here alive."

"Right. Let's go, Ryomen." Kōri, Ryomen, and a group of the criminals would run toward the control room, not knowing they were being trailed by Nightbolt.

Yahiro would hide himself near some rubble as a group of the criminals walked past him, all laughing. "Man! This is great! We're gonna be famous after this! Kaii was right! This is gonna be easy!"

"Yeah! Working with the Syndicate to take down this damn school! It's funny how things work out!" The other criminals would all laugh to one another. Behind Yahiro, the Creator would appear, and the pair would watch the conflict. "Yahiro, I told you this was gonna happen. The question is, who's behind it?"

"I don't know... those guys mentioned some guy named Kaii. Maybe he knows." Yahiro would sneak around and try to get onto higher ground. As Yahiro got onto higher ground, he would see Longshot and his teacher, Mr Montaro, now wearing his golden suit of armor fighting Kiyoshi and Shinda. The Creator would watch alongside Yahiro with his arms behind his back. "That's your teacher? How impressive."

"Yeah... I didn't know Mr Montaro was The Phoenix. That's kinda badass." Yahiro would chuckle to himself.

On the other side of the facility, Kanamoto and Toji would work together and fight the villains. One of them would begin to punch Kanamoto in the chest over and over only for Kanamoto's veins to glow and allow him to punch the villain, hitting him in the face and sending his flying. Toji would laugh at this. "Impressive Kanamoto! It's very impressive, but check this out!"

Toji would wrap his sand around his arms and harden them before punching two of the approaching villains. Kanamoto would laugh with Toji. "Ha! Didn't know you could do that! Very nice!"

At another part of the building, Saito would stand around a group of defeated villains with a smirk and crossed arms. "Man, you guys are really boring. Where's your boss?"

"Man! I don't know!" The villain would sit up and hold his arms up. Saito would shake his head and begin to approach the villain who would quickly give up his bosses. "Ok! Ok! I know that two of them are going to the control room! I don't know what their gonna do, though. I promise!"
