"...Yahiro?" A voice would faintly call out to Yahiro as he slept. Tossing and turning, the voice would call out again, and in Yahiro's dream, he'd see nothing but the great emptiness of space. "Yahiro!"

Before Yahiro woke up, he'd see the outline of a humanoid figure, unable to see their face. "Wha!?!" Looking around his room for a second, Yahiro would shake his head and get ready for the first day at Desert Winds.

"We're getting reports that Iseki Hamura, Leader of the Scrappers Gang, has been spotted at the Great Wall surrounding what remains of Hanshiro. As many of you know, the Scrappers in recent years have begun to move their operations closer to the walls, and one can only wonder what happens. It appears Araki Mikitaka, CEO of The Eclipse Foundation, has dispatched his own military force to the walls to protect us just in case." The TV would speak about Iseki and His Gang while Yahiro's family watched.

"I can't believe that man is still living there." Yahiro's father Yashiro would sip his coffee as he watched the news with his wife. "Well, at least that Araki guy has it under control." Yashiro would sigh at this, "My new boss is many things, I suppose." Yashiro would smile at Kaya and saw Yahiro walk into the kitchen. "There he is! You've been asleep for a while, Yahiro! Your mother was about to call the paramedics." Yashiro would laugh, and Kaya would chuckle to one another as Yahiro sat down and began to eat his breakfast, stopping to laugh with his family, still thinking about his dream. "Yeah... sorry. I'm just anxious about my first day."

Yashiro would set his paper down and look at his son. "Yahiro, you got in because of your extraordinary talent. If anyone should be anxious, it should be those other kids."

Kaya would sit with her family and smile at Yahiro. "Your father is right. You did well in those trials, so we know you'll do great in school. Your brother did, and now he's a great hero in America."

Yahiro would smile at this as he remembered his older brother. "Yeah. You're right. Speaking of, did Takara send any more letters?" Yahiro would look at his mom before his father slid him an envelope. "This came yesterday. I meant to give it to ya, but you were asleep."

Yahiro would rip open the envelope and begin to read the letter. "Dear Lil Bro, I heard you made it into Desert Winds! How great for you! Hopefully, once you graduate, you'll come join your older brother, and we can have that rematch we always talked about. Until then, do your best, and I promise you'll make it here. Love, Takara."

Yahiro would smile and get his bag, heading to the bus stop where Saito was waiting for him. "Yahiro! You look like you're in a better mood!"

"Hey Saito, Takara finally got back to me." Yahiro would smile at his friend as the bus to Desert Winds arrived to pick them up. "That's amazing, Yahiro! What'd he say?"

"Just how he's proud and hopes I come to America with him once my time here is done." Yahiro and Saito would walk onto the bus and ride toward the academy.

Half an hour later, the bus finally arrived, and several groups of students all made their way to their respective classes. Yahiro and Saito would walk into the Pro Heroes Class and were immediately greeted by a classmate yelling.

"Toji! This is my seat! I chose it, so get up!" One of their classmates stood over Toji, who was already making himself comfortable at the desk. The student would continue. "This is the perfect desk... It's got great lighting, impeccably clean, and it's near the air conditioning! I've claimed it, so please get up."

Toji would smirk and look at his classmate. "What's your name again?"

"I'm Yokara, but I'm not sure what that has to do with anything." Yokara would cross his arms, and Toji spoke up. "Yokara. You were dumb and walked away from this desk, so the way I see it, it's mine. Go sit somewhere else like behind me, where you'll spend most of your time here."
