"Ryōshi, what is this? I said to get all seven of them. I'm only counting three." Araki would stand over Kaii, Kōri and Shinda, who were tied to one another, each wearing a special collar around them. Araki, Commandant Okura, and Ryōshi would all stare at the three with different expressions on their faces, with Okura being standoffish and Ryōshi just neutral Araki, on the other hand, would stare unimpressed at what he saw as he noticed Kaii waking up.
"Wha....where are we...?" Kaii would begin to speak up clearly still under the poisons effect. Araki would crouch and face Kaii with a smile. "You must be Kaii Yamamura. Heard a lot about you and your friends here. I've really wanted to speak with you for a while, Mr Yamamura."
"Go...go to hell...Mikitaka!" Kaii would slowly regain his strength, speaking louder than before. Araki would stand upright with a smirk. "That's the spirit I was after!" Araki would walk off for a moment and come back with a chair, setting it in front of Kaii before taking a seat. "Kaii Yamamura, I've wanted to speak with you for a while. Since your attack on Desert Winds, you've been on everyone's radars."
"Hmph. So? The moment I get out of these, you're dead." Kaii would stare at Araki, the two locking eyes. "Now. What do you want, Mikitaka?"
"I want to support you and your team. I believe you and I are very similar individuals, and we both could benefit from working together." Araki would sit back awaiting Kaii's answer. Kaii would look at the ground and at Kōri and Shinda, both still unconscious.
"Why?" Kaii would glance at Araki, his face neutral as he asked again. "Why do you want to help us? Someone like you helping a group of villains? What do you want out of this, and what are we getting?"
Araki would sigh, standing and walking off again, coming back with a folder, sliding it over to Kaii. "Okura, release him."
"S-sir?! Are you sure? What if he tries anything?" Okura would look at his boss, who was calm and composed. "If he tries anything, then he gets gunned down by the turrets in the room. He's powerless, so there's nothing to worry about there."
"Very well." Okura would release Kaii from his chains and allowed Kaii to stand up. He'd stare at Okura and Ryōshi, who had his hand placed on a dart pistol strapped to his waist. Araki would look at Kaii, his hands in his pockets. "Pick that folder up. It has the answers to your questions."
Kaii would hesitate before slowly moving to pick the folder up. Opening it, he'd read through the papers inside. After a few moments of reading, he'd look at Araki. "What is this?"
"When you and your 'Trumpets' attacked Desert Winds, I had heard you worked under a man calling himself Genesis. I knew the name was familiar, so with some connections and some basic history, I read about Genesis. Omega-Man's greatest enemy and an enigma himself. However, I was unaware of how deep this hole went." Araki would sit back on a chair as a door behind them opened. Two individuals would make their way toward the group, a giant and another lanky male would stand near Araki. "Ah! You got him! Wonderful. Place him over there if you don't mind."
Kaii would watch as the giant threw Ryomen at the others, and despite his usual reaction, Kaii continued to read over the files on his old master. "What are you getting at, Mikitaka?"
"Genesis had all of the same powers that Omega-Man had, and that was due to scientists using Omega-Man's blood to create a construct of his DNA and making it possible to copy his powers. In the past, this sort of experimentation was tested with two other individuals. A guy and a girl under the codenames Alpha and Omega. Genesis was the third brought in and experimented on by these scientists. Turns out, he was a perfect match for these powers and was given the codename Genesis."
Kaii would look at Araki, who had a mournful expression as he went on. "The experiments were underneath Hanshiro in a hidden facility. Genesis used his own power to absorb Alpha and Omega, taking their powers and adding them to his arsenal. Before he could do anything major, Omega-Man flew to Hanshiro, and they fought with Omega-Man coming out victorious...at the cost of Hanshiro. My home was turned into a wasteland, and Genesis was killed."
