"Mr Mikitaka, Shinka here. I wanted to give you an update on the project."
"Hm? Go on then." Araki would look out his window with his hands in his pockets while Shinka spoke. "We were able to observe of Goliath's evolution and took note of a couple of things."
Araki would look back at the hologram of Shinka on a platform, his eyes locking with Shinka's with a peaked interest. "Go on." Shinka would nod his head. "Goliath seems to be evolving at an alarming rate, and with these tests we've put him on, he's seemingly discovered more powers that Omega-Man holds, such as flight."
"Is that so? Perfect. How soon can we release him for missions?" Araki would smirk as he walked over to his chair and sat at his desk. Shinka would clear his throat and fixed his collar. "Uhm... there is a catch, sir. With this intense evolution, we noticed that Goliath's mental capacity has largely...diminished...we've projected at this rate, he'll be no smarter than a raging animal and just as dangerous."
"Hm...how unfortunate. That's too bad." Araki would turn the hologram off and let out a groan as he slid into his chair more. "Commandant, I want you to prepare a mission for The Hand of Odin, specifically Goliath. I wanna see what he can do."
A few weeks had passed since then, and back at Desert Winds, Yahiro would sit in the courtyard of the academy alone with his thoughts until he was joined by Saito and Ida, both sitting with him. "Yahiro! How long ya been here, man?"
Yahiro would smile at them and fixed his hair, moving it out of his eyes. "Hey, Saito. What's going on, Ida?" Ida would smile at him and spoke up. "Did you hear? They're allowing us to sign up for different hero agencies soon!"
"Seriously? This early? What's the occasion?" Yahiro would look at them, and Saito would laugh. "They know we're talented enough to do this early!"
"Exactly!" Ida would laugh with them, and Yahiro would smile. "So, Ida, who are you signing up for?" Ida would keep her smile and looked over at the pair. "I wanna find a way to hone my healing powers so I'm looking to apply for the best agency for support heroes. What about you Saito?"
Saito would sigh and he'd look at the ground. "I don't have much choice to be entirely honest. I'm signing up for my father's agency. I'm not super excited for it."
"Why not?" Ida would set her hand on his shoulder and Saito explained. "My dad comes from a lineage of great heroes and experts the same from me and he can be abit...extra with how he expresses it. It'll just be a week of him yelling at me and barking orders."
"I forgot about your dad, man. I mean, it's not all bad?" Yahiro looked at his friend and smiled to try and cheer him up. Saito would sigh and gave a slight smile. "I suppose... plus, it wouldn't be too bad to learn from the Speed Demon himself."
"Wait... Saito? Is your dad Speed Demon!?! He's like my favorite Super Hero ever!!" Ida would shout out loud, embarrassing the pair. Yahiro would look at her. "It's not like you to fangirl like that, Ida. Guess you're passionate about this?"
"Are you kidding!?! I got to meet Speed Demon when I was a kid and he helped inspire my journey to become a professional hero!" Ida would smile at him and Saito, clearly not buying it would look at Yahiro. "So buddy, who are you signing on with?"
"Omega-Man and his Agency." Yahiro confidently spoke and Saito choked for a second at this. "Uhm...Yahiro? You know Omega-Man doesn't have an agency, right?"
"What do you mean? He has to. Every hero has one." Yahiro would look at the pair and while Saito just watched him, Ida spoke up. "He's right, Omega-Man doesn't have an agency to sign up for."
"That makes no sense." Yahiro looked at his phone and read about Omega-Man and who he works with. "Omega-Man is often quoted on regard to his lack of working with an agency as he believes that it holds heroes back and incorporates them in a web of corruption, something that many professional heroes have fallen into."
