I wrote you a poem once or so I think

The memory is a blur just like your face

But there is something about you that lingers in my mind—the way your laughter sounded like music to my ears the way you talked and walked

You are my half-forgotten dream

We talked for hours that day lost in conversation as if we had known each other for a lifetime sometimes it really felt like we did

Your warmth, your warm embrace I remember well—a beacon in a world gone cold

When you left it felt like a piece of me went with you, and the world went cold

In the days that followed I searched for you in the sea of faces but none of them were you

How could it be that I couldn't recall your features just the beautiful echo of your laughter and the comforting warmth of your touch

Yet still I hold onto the hope that one day our paths will cross again and I'll finally remember your name your face and the love we once shared even if only for a moment

To whom it may concern I write this

Of love lost yet lingering in a tender curse

Someone I cherished beyond compare

In your hands I found my solace true but now apart I mourn what i once knew

Who is it

Whose gentle touch do I yearn for still

Whose warmth do I miss so much against my will

Time might tell time might hide

But in memories sweet it's you I find
