Sometimes I feel like I'm being watched
It's like you are never alone
Sometimes I'm just sitting in the dark of my own house
And the dark just keeps coming closer and closer to me
With it, the feeling of being watched just becomes stronger and stronger almost as if I don't turn on the light it will attack me
Its always something
A warm breath on my neck
Or a shadow in the corner of my eye that vanishes before I get to see it
Those random steps in the hallway and weird creaks
I'm losing sleep over this
It has been days now
Every time I close my eyes, the feeling just gets stronger Someone is looking straight at me
I can feel their eyes burning through my closed ones
Who could it be, I always ask
And there is no answer
So I just lay there
Not moving
Not breathing
Just there
Laying there
I can feel the eyes
The stare is getting stronger
Those breaths getting closer
The footsteps getting louder
So I turn the light on
Nothings there
I'm losing sleep over it
Those fucking eyes are following me everywhere
It has been days
Tell me, how long can a human not sleep for
Because I'm going insane
My eye bags are just getting heavier, weighting on me every day
I don't know what's real anymore
Even the friendliest smile of my mother feels sinister now
My mom's concern grows with each day
"Are you ok" she asks
Her voice distant
But how can I explain the terror that keeps me awake, the eyes I feel on me every second of the day
"I'm ok, just tired" is my answer like always
My head pounds with relentless ache, the world around me blurring at the edges
I can't remember the last time I felt fully awake
I can hear every noise and every creak in the house, a symphony of terror playing just for me
And then, I see them
The eyes
Big and wide, fixed on me with a penetrating, predatory intensity
They are cold and unblinking, like twin orbs of glass reflecting nothing but a detached, lifeless stare
There is no emotion, no flicker of humanity, just an empty void that seems to swallow all light and warmth
Those eyes lock onto mine, and I feel a chill that reaches down to my bones It's like staring into a soulless abyss, a bottomless pit of darkness
They follow me, unrelenting, stripping away my sanity layer by layer No matter where I go, they are there, watching, waiting
I turn the light back on, my hands trembling The eyes disappear, but the feeling remains The memory of that cold, emotionless gaze lingers, a haunting reminder that I am never truly alone
Not while he is watching
