BREAKING NEWS: LAMBORGINI ANNOUNCE THEIR FULL LINEUP.
Just this morning, Lamborghini F1 have announced their driver line up and their esports line up, as well as new investors. Surprisingly, they have gone with an all-female line up in all aspects and have taken some key players from other teams.
Previously, Daniel Ricciardo and Mick Schumacher had been driving for the team. Ricciardo announced his retirement to raise newborn son with wife, Marissa, while Schumacher has decided to make a move to Endurance racing instead.

Alongside these signings, Lamborghini has attracted a variety of investors and well known celebrities. Just this week, Mai Chen, a renowned Pianist in Italy, announced she would be investing in the teams after being inspired by their new inclusion plan to hire people with disabilities. Chen is known for having heart issues and is accompanied by a service dog all year round.
Team Principal, Lucia Romono, has led the team to near victory in the past three years. Ricciardo and Schumacher secured a normal of podiums in the three years there. It's believed that with the top talent of Saunders and Räikkönen are both on three year contracts, and are expected to bring the constructors championship to Lamborghini.
Robyn Saunders, whose contract is said to be in the region of £50 million, won the 2025 drivers championships with a 75 point lead over teammate George Russell. Saunders joined Formula 1 in 2022 with Mercedes after taking the place of Lewis Hamilton (who remains her mentor and now, manager). Saunders is engaged to Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc but shows no remorse for him on track.
Anneli Räikkönen joined Formula 1 half way through 2023 but took a full contract with Red Bull for 2024 and 2025, alongside Max Verstappen. Her contract is said to be in the region of £20 million, with contract stating it will go up if she remains within 50 points of Saunders or above her.
There's no official statement on the contract agreement money but reports show this is close.
"We've wanted these drivers for a while: Daniel and Mick have been great drivers but they're off to new things now so we felt it was the right time to get our female line up." — Lucia Romono.
"Mercedes will always be my first team and I'll always be good friends with Toto. At this stage in my life, I wanted to help achieve a project and give space for new upcoming talent at Mercedes. I wish them well and I'm excited for my new journey." — Robyn Saunders.
"They had a fast car last year and I'll make the most out of any car they give me. Hopefully it's fast. I'm interested to see how Robyn and I will be as teammates too." — Anneli Räikkönen.

LAMBORGHINI WIN THEIR FIRST CONSTRUCTORS CHAMPIONSHIP
In the lights of Abu Dhabi, Lamborghini take the constructors championship by a staggering 806 point lead with McLaren behind with 601.
Robyn Saunders brings home the Driver's championship, with teammate Anneli Räikkönen just 14 points behind her. Podiums were shared by the two more times than not, with the1-2 varying. Räikkönen had two DNFs, one at the hand of Estaban Ocon and the other from engine failure. Saunders also suffered one DNF in spain from engine failure. It's possible that Räikkönen might have won if not for the DNF.
Lucia Romono expressed her pride in the team as investors gathered for the last race of the season.
"This team deserves this win and I hope they'll all join our celebration party. I'm thrilled to reach this point after three years in the sport." — Lucia Romono.
"There's no words to express how it feels to win a championship but to do it for the first time with this team as they get the constructors is amazing. I hope we achieve many more." — Robyn Saunders.
