ANYA

By the time that the Doggy had come to our door, I could still remember Friday when Sy-on Boy called me Starlight. It was sweet. But it wasn't what I was trying to do.

It was originally just for taunting him about my Stella. Clearly he wasn't all that offended. And clearly he was being his weird self and doing stupid stuff.

"Call me 'Starlight Anya'."

"Fine, Starlight."

He was supposed to call me "Starlight Anya". Not Starlight. What the heck was a name like Starlight anyways?

What is wrong with that boy? Not only did he cry, he also said the name wrong. I was just going to laugh by myself at the image of him crying, I wasn't even going to tell anyone! Okay, fine, maybe Becky. But still, I genuinely thought convincing him to call me "Starlight Anya" would make us friends. Clearly not. And that dumb promise he had me make. Ugh.

I needed a new plan. Something else to get Sy-on Boy to like me to help Papa with his mission!

This dog is the new plan.

"You're going to help me convince Sy-on Boy to be friends with me!" I rubbed the sides of the dog's face. The Doggy barked as if he understood. He most definitely did.

The Plan: Tell Sy-on Boy that I have a new dog.

"This is a new thing I'm going to do." I told the Doggy. "Write down my plans in this notebook so I won't forget. People say you forget stuff as you get older."

My name is Anya. I have a Papa who is a spy. A mother who is an assassin. And I am not really 6 years old. (A/N: deliberate spelling mistake)

So the next day, I asked Papa if I could get a Stella for saving the Doggy.

"No, Anya. We have to keep this whole thing a secret for the sake of East-West Relations."

"After all we did to save the world!" I grumbled. "What a waste of time."

The Doggy woofed.

"Anya, it's almost time for school!" Mama said as she held up the dress of my uniform.

If Anya can't get a Stella Star...then it's back to Plan B.

"Anya!"

Anya can get invited to Sy-on Boy's house so Papa can complete his mission.

Write that down.

I chuckled a bit when I thought of what he would say when he sees my new pet dog. Something like, "What? You got a dog? Well I bet mine is bigger! Bring it to my house and I'll prove it!"

He likes good competition, huh. I'll give you a competition alright.

My Doggy is bigger.

"Anya! Come on!"

The air was crispy today.

Even when I was on the school bus, my mind was buzzing with thoughts. About Becky's reaction. My classmates' reaction. And most importantly, Sy-on Boy's reaction.

I'm going to save the world. Me. Anya.

I smirked.

"'Morning, Anya." Becky greeted me as she sat next to me in the classroom.

"Good morning." My head perked up. "Becky, guess what?"

Oh, thank goodness. The "Starlight Anya" thing is all over now. I heard her thoughts. "What?"
