Grace woke up and noticed her water broke and woke up Jay, her husband, the father of her children and more importantly, the love of her life.
Grace said,” Jay something is wrong. The babies aren't due until the 31st but My water just broke.
Jay immediately carries Grace to the car and buckles Her up and then gets in, buckles up and drives to the hospital and kept checking on grace.
He arrives at the hospital to see his dad, Patrick already there. His parents and siblings have moved back to Chicago because they missed him or that's what he thinks, truth to be told, Only Izzy, Thomas and his mom missed him, Patrick and Hyacinth could care less about Jay's feelings.
Jay asked,” Hey Dad, is mom giving birth to my siblings? Grace is about to give birth soon, Dad.
Patrick said,” Yes, your mom is about to give birth to Melena Halstead, Jeremy Halstead Luisa Halstead and Will Halstead here shortly, Jay son.
Grace is now 10 centimeters dilated and same for his mom and his dad goes with his mom and Jay goes with Grace and Patrick Holds Susana's hand and Jay holds Grace's hand in support .
With Grace Smith-Halstead and Jay Halstead.
Grace said,” I'M NEVER ALLOWING YOU TO GET ME PREGNANT AGAIN. THIS IS PAINFUL.
Jay softly said,” I believe you can do this, babe.
Grace screamed at the top of her lungs and Jay just held her hand and she squeezed it very hard.
Caleb Patrick Halstead was born first, followed by Daphne Susana Halstead, then Derek Salem Halstead and lastly Frankie Naylee Halstead.
Jay was handed Frankie Halstead and her eyes opened to reveal beautiful Blue eyes and She cooed at her daddy and he cuddled her.
Grace was handed Caleb Halstead and his eyes opened to reveal beautiful green eyes and he cooed at his mommy and she cuddled him.
Then Jay held Caleb and Grace held Frankie.
Both Derek and Daphne were held by both their mommy and daddy when all of a sudden, Jay notices that Grace's lips were turning blue.
He Shouted,” DOCTOR, IT'S GRACE.
Dr. Harley Choi entered the room followed by OB specialist Georgia Rhodes and they tried to revive Grace but then it was too late, Grace was gone.
Jay cried as both Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Choi Comforted him and took the babies so they could rest and he walked out of the room so he could be alone, only to be hugged by Izzy and Thomas.
Thomas said,” I'm sorry for your loss, big brother.
Jay said, “ Thank you, Little bro. It means a lot.
Izzy said,” I'm sorry for your loss, big brother.
Jay said,” Thank you, little sis. It means a lot.
He then saw his father walking out of the Delivery room and walked over to him, and hugged him.
Patrick Hugged Jay and then let Jay go.
Patrick said,” I love you too, son. He walks away.
Jay asked,” Wait. I thought you were with mom.
Patrick said,” The Doctors kicked me out, saying that I was no help and just kept yelling at her.
Jay said,” I'll stay with her. He heads it in his mom’s room and the Doctor lets Jay in and closes the door. Jay immediately rushes to her side.
Jay said,” I'm Right here. I believe in you, Mom.
Susana Said,” I'm grateful you are here, little Jay.
Susana then Gave birth to Melena Halstead, followed by Jeremy Halstead, then Luisa Halstead, and lastly William Halstead. Jay smiled.
Jay was handed Will Halstead and his eyes opened to reveal beautiful Blue eyes and he cooed at his big brother and he cuddled him.
Susana was handed Melena Halstead and her eyes opened to reveal beautiful green eyes and she cooed at her mommy and she cuddled her.
Then Jay held Melena and Susana Held Will.
Both Jeremy and Lusia were held by their brother and mommy when all of a sudden, Susana's breathing became labored. Jay was worried.
Jay Shouted,” DOCTOR, IT'S MY MOM. HELP.
Dr. Mark Upton followed by OB specialist Georgia Rhodes and they tried to revive Susana but then it was too late, Susana was gone. Jay was upset.
Jay cried As both Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Upton comforted him and took the babies so that they could rest and Jay left the room so he could be alone only to be Hugged by Izzy and Thomas.
Thomas asked,” What's wrong big brother Jay?
Izzy said,” Please tell us so we can help you Jay.
Jay said, “ Mom's gone. And it's all my fault, Izzy.
Izzy said” it was never your fault, Jay Halstead.
Thomas said,” She's right, Jay. Mom had cancer.
Jay nodded and the 3 siblings overheard a conversation they were never supposed to hear.
Hyacinth said,”looks like the plan worked after all.
Noelle said, “ I told you it would work Hyacinth.
Edward said,” that Grace is out of the way, what's the chance that Noelle and Jay will get together?
Hyacinth said,” The Chances are 100% Edward. I told CPS and DFPS that Jay was abusive to her. So in order to get custody of the babies, he has to Marry you Noelle. I told CPS and DFPS that you are a great person and would be a great mom.
Izzy, Thomas and Jay couldn't believe Hyacinth would betray them like this and especially not Jay.
Izzy asked,” would you like to drive you home?
Jay said,” Yes please, Izzy. I want to leave now.
Workers from CPS and DFPS arrived and took Caleb Halstead, Daphne Halstead, Derek Halstead, Frankie Halstead, Melena Halstead, Jeremy Halstead, Luisa Halstead, and Will Halstead away from Jay and glared at him.
Izzy Took Jay home and left for her home.
Jay grabbed a bottle of scotch and drank the whole thing, not realizing he was almost about to go Down a dark path where He can't escape.
