Chapter 7: Pregnant and Emotional Girlfriend

It's been a month since Jay joined the Army, along with his Girlfriend,Grace Smith.

But He's becoming worried about Grace because she has been throwing up a lot more.

He doesn't tell Commander Lenny Jameson because he doesn't want to stress him out.

But even Commander Lenny Jameson is worried and he approaches Jay with worry in his eyes. He asked Jay," what's wrong with Grace? She has been throwing up a lot more and I am very concerned about her.Talk to her and see if she is ok, Jay Halstead.

Jay said," Yes sir, Commander sir. He walks to his barracks and sees that the guy, mouse is looking through Jay's stuff without his permission, making him more upset

Jay calmly asked," can you please stop looking through my stuff? It's rude, man.

Mouse said," sorry, man, I thought this was my stuff. I'm leaving now. See you later.

Jay said," I am sorry for getting mad at you. I was just in a bad mood. Are we good?

.Mouse said," It's fine, man and yeah, we're good.My name is Greg but everyone calls me Mouse. What's yours? Want to be friends with me? I barely have any friends at all.

Jay said," My name is Jay Halstead and I would love to be friends with you, Mouse.

The 2 men talked for a bit before heading their separate ways.Jay to find Grace and Mouse to the cafeteria to get something to eat.and hopefully make some new friends.

Jay finds Grace getting a pregnancy test and wonders why she would need one.

Jay asked," Grace, are you okay? I have been so worried about you, babe. What's wrong? You can tell me if you need anything and I will always be there for you, babe.

Grace said," I know, babe but it's something you won't be able to help with.

Grace heads to her Barracks and takes the pregnancy test and it comes back positive.

Grace takes the positive pregnancy test and hides it behind her back to surprise Jay.

Grace hands Jay the positive pregnancy test and watches as Jay smiles and he said," I am so Excited for fatherhood. He hugs Grace and wraps his arms around her waist.

Grace said," I am glad you are excited for parenthood because I'm not. I'm nervous.

Jay said," I know, But I am right here with you, and I will always be here for you.

Grace smiled and nodded and leaned her head on Jay's shoulder and fell asleep.

Jay carried her to the Barracks and laid her down on his bed and laid next to her.

Jay ended up falling asleep next to her, happy to be in her arms and she was happy to be in his arms, the baby bump was not noticeable but it would be noticeable very soon.
