"Big brother! Big brother! Do the one about the lost seashell!"
"Oh that one? You got it, Saki!"
"Where did I put- Ah there it is!"
"Once upon a time, nestled among the grains of sand on a vast, shimmering beach, there lived a seashell named Aria. Aria was no ordinary seashell; she possessed a lustrous pearl-like sheen that caught the sunlight just right, dazzling anyone who laid eyes on her.
Aria had spent years on the beach, content in her little patch of sand, watching the waves dance and listening to the whispers of the ocean. But one stormy night, a powerful gust of wind swept Aria away from her home, sending her tumbling into the turbulent sea.
For days, Aria drifted aimlessly amidst the swirling currents, feeling lost and alone. But just when she thought all hope was lost, a gentle wave carried her ashore on a distant island. There, she was discovered by a young girl named Miku, who marveled at Aria's beauty and promptly added her to her collection of treasures.
Aria found solace in Miku's company, enjoying the laughter and joy that surrounded her. But as time passed, Aria longed to return to the sea, to feel the familiar embrace of the waves once more. One fateful day, as Miku played by the shore, Aria seized the opportunity to slip back into the ocean, bidding a silent farewell to her newfound friend.
Back in the embrace of the sea, Aria felt a sense of belonging wash over her. But her joy was short-lived, for as she drifted with the current, a sudden undertow pulled her beneath the waves, carrying her deeper and deeper into the ocean's depths.
Frantic and disoriented, Aria struggled to break free, but the relentless pull of the undertow was too strong. And just like that, Aria was lost once again, swallowed by the vast expanse of the ocean.
Yet even as she disappeared into the darkness, Aria held onto hope, knowing that somewhere out there, amidst the endless depths, there was a chance, however slim, that she would be found once more. And so, the lost seashell drifted on, a glimmer of light in the vast, mysterious ocean."
"That's not how it went!"
"I can't read you horror stories before bed, dear sister! Now go sleep! Go go go-"

"Tsukasa!! Kasa! Kasa! Ka-"
Tsukasa woke up to Rinku shaking him awake. His eyes shot open as the blazing sun attacked his pupils.
He groaned, covering his eyes.
"I'm awake..." He mumbled, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He swatted at Rinku who just squeaked and there was a thud.
Tsukasa quickly sat up, looking around. "Rinku! Are you ok...ay..."
He looked down at the floor, seeing Rinku in her knight armour. She quickly got to her feet, shaking her head like a for trying to dry itself.
"I'm okay!!"
"Why are you in your knight get-up?" Tsukasa asked, rubbing sleep from his eyes.
"Well... you promised yesterday that you'd play with me! You said it, Tsukasa! 'Once I've gotten some sleep, we'll spar.'" Rinku repeated the other's words back to him, grinning excitedly.
Tsukasa blinked. Spar....? Oh right. He and Rinku have been talking about the possible identities of the Phantom Thief. Rui suggested that the person in question might be stronger than they let on, given how many artifacts they were able to steal.
