Chapter One

I was told once that elves were never to be trusted, especially elf hunters. They would kill the fae without mercy and one of them had killed one of my older sister while she was playing in the woods. I had cried so much because Khali was the only sister who had really acknowledged me. From that day on, I wanted to seek revenge for my sister. I would make the elf hunter pay for what he did. I would hunt him down like he did to Khali, the fairy princess of immortality that he had killed and I will slaughter him and spread his blood onto the river stones. Should be pretty easy right?

My name is Kalisa and the fairy princess of nature. If I was to die without naming the heir to the title, nature (plants) would also crumble away. Yeah it's a pretty big thing if a fairy princess dies without warning. Due to my sister's death, no fae are immortal now and we will all die before the usual dying age of 1,000. Honestly, I blame the elf hunter, Jasper, for everything bad that had happened to us. After all, he was the one who killed my sister.

I was the youngest out of the seventeen (now sixteen) fairy princesses and princes. Now when you think of fairy princess you may think of a itty bitty pixie with a pink tutu on, colorful wings, and a gold crown. Now this wasn't the case. I mean we do have wands and magic but we certainly do not wear tutus or crowns. Our clothes are silk not leaves or anything that the humans picture us as. Yes there are humans in our world, but they barely interact with us. They think that we are myths. But like obviously we're not.

I always have a fairy emerald floral patterned dress on. My forest green hair was natural and complimented my gray eyes. I wish I looked more like my siblings, Kaia and Kai, who have dark blue hair which look way more natural then green. Krystal's eyes would change color on her moods which is so cool and Kyomi was the most prettiest fairy ever! Kiera had black hair and Kiara had blond which is very natural looking. Having fifteen other siblings is hard if you think about it. Being the youngest is ever harder!

Kiara- Fairy princess of light

Khali- Ex-Fairy princess of immortality

Keanu- Fairy prince of air

Kyomi- Fairy princess of beauty

Kerensa- Fairy princess of love

Kismet- Fairy princess of fate

Koki- Fairy prince of fortune and pleasure

Keahi- Fairy prince of fire

Kya- Fairy princess of animals

Kei- Fairy price of wisdom

Kalisa- Fairy princess of nature

People said that I was pretty and powerful, but I knew better. They just said that to make me feel better. They thought of me as the outsider who would never be as pretty as Kyomi and Kerensa, or as powerful as Kiara or Kiera, who mastered their powers at 100 years old. I'm 170 right now to the fae and elves but to humans, I am seventeen years old.
