Anakin fell to his knees, his right hand dropping his saber to the ground and holding his punctured shoulder. If it hadn't been for his terrible accident during the explosion of the AT-TE, he could have said he'd never known such pain. The teenager didn't know exactly what Erwann wanted, but he was sure he was glad he hadn't taken the blow twenty centimetres lower, which would have perforated his heart and killed him. Given his recent behavior, he's convinced that, deep down, Erwann wanted him dead.Luminara Unduli, Commander Gree and a dozen clones arrived. The Jedi Master bent down and looked at Anakin, then hurriedly asked:

-Is everything all right, Skywalker?

-Yes, Master... He can still be saved, he's not completely lost.

-Don't worry, I'll bring him back safe and sound.

Then the Jedi dashed off in the direction of the forest, followed by the clones. Ceya and Bellerine silently approached Anakin. The latter picked up his saber and stood up. He looked at Ceya, who was still crying:

-I can't believe it...

-It'll be all right.

Bellerine laid a warm hand on the shoulder of her friend, who was crying her eyes out. The situation made Anakin uncomfortable, and he wanted to meditate. But first he had to get treatment. After a few seconds, Bellerine turned to Anakin and said:

-You've got to get treatment, come on.
-I'm on my way.

He started walking slowly. His foot struck a hard object that glinted faintly in the moonlight. He bent down and picked it up. For a few moments, he looked at Erwann's sword. Of rare design and shining black, what was he to do with it? Keep it, he would put it away with Jo Quings' saber, which he had recovered after his death just before taking off from Er'tilk.

Erwann ran without stopping between the trees, the branches whipping his face and tearing his tunic in places.
He stopped to catch his breath in a small clearing. The trees were too close together for the moonlight to shine through. He was plunged into complete darkness. He dropped his only source of light and defense far behind him, and there was no turning back now that the clones were already looking for him.

He bent over and coughed violently, feeling as if he were about to cough up his lungs. After several painful coughs, he was finally able to catch his breath. A branch cracked to his left, startling him. He turned sharply towards the source of the noise and asked in an uncertain voice:

-Who's there?-You're...angry.

The voice was slow and deep, and the young man felt the hairs on his neck stand up. The voice exuded unparalleled power, as if it had emerged from the darkest depths of the Galaxy. He repeated:

-Who's there?-You're still conflicted, but your mind is made up... Your curiosity leads you down the path of greatness, a path that frightens most, but you have no such fear... -Show yourself!-I feel your anger, the anger that feeds you and pushes you to the dark side, a path you can't avoid.

Erwann saw a dark shape advancing towards him. Fear taking over, he stepped back slightly. He could now make out a figure cloaked in a long cloak with a hood pulled down over its head.

Several branches cracked above Erwann, who leapt to avoid their fall. The moon now illuminated the small clearing. The young man stared at the figure, saw it reach for its hood and let it fall.
