as filming continued, walker seemed to be getting more and more annoying. to olivia, at least.
but for whatever odd reason, he was everywhere.
if she turned a corner, he was there. if she went to get food, he was there. if she went to read her lines, he was there.
and of course, he was almost always accompanied by a handful of oreos, ready for him to eat.
"you know, i really think you have an oreo problem." olivia scoffed, walking into the school room.
"you know, i really think you're just mad that you're not famous enough to have people bring you oreos whenever you want."
"oh yes because i will die if i do not have oreos for an hour." olivia mocked him.
"i probably would, i think my body kind of depends on them now," he laughed, olivia joining him.
"did you read your script? we're filming the tunnel of love scene today." olivia sat down next to him.
the tunnel of love was kind of an important scene in percy jackson history.
for most people, it's where the idea of amelie and percy liking each other first develops.
but for olivia, it would be torture.
she had to spend hours close to walker, staring at him, then they had to go into the water so she would end up freezing.
this was her definition of a nightmare.
she just hoped walker would understand how much she was dreading this day, and would be less annoying than usual.
but when is he ever?
"yeah, aren't you so excited to spend hours in the freezing cold with me?" walker turned to her, smiling.
"oh, very."

walker held onto olivia's hand as she walked onto the boat. he joked that he would push her in, but she would actually kill him if he even looked at the water.
"walker, i swear if you drop me," she started.
"i won't olivia. promise." he looked at her, a soft smile appearing on his lips.
she rolled her eyes and sat down next to him, smiling.
"okay guys. all we're really looking for here is a lot of stolen glances. space them out but make them sincere. got it?" the director, jet wilkinson, told them.
the two teenagers nodded.
"alright. and, action!" the cameras started rolling and the boat started moving forward.
as they started saying their lines, they both went to steal a glance at the other, making eye contact. they looked away and both blushed.
they both caught themselves, "why am i blushing?" walkerthought.
"she's one of the meanest people i know. i have no reason to be blushing around her." he sighed and they reset the scene to refilm.
jet shouted action and they started the scene again.
once more, the two made eye contact.
and once more, they both blushed.
"um should we like practice this or something?" walker said after jet told everyone to take five.
for whatever reason, everyone ignored him.
"okay." he sighed when he got no response.
"we could practice while they take five. if you want." olivia said. she was oddly nervous.
"why is she nervous? she's like one of the most confident people i know."
"yeah, that's fine."
"this is awkward."

walker and liv walked next to each other, on their way to craft services. they told leah and aryan and that they would meet them their once they finished filming.
it had taken a while, but after the crew cracked multiple jokes about olivia being so nervous around walker, they finished their scenes for the day.
neither olivia nor walker could tell you why she was suddenly so nervous around him. to both of them it seemed as if things had changed over the last few days, but they didn't know what.
for olivia, she didn't mind too much. she knew it was weird but things would probably go back to normal.
but for walker, it was practically eating him alive.
olivia was one of his best friends, and just a few weeks after being alone with her she was acting weird.
of course, the possibility of it just being because she's a teenage girl and she was learning new things about herself had went through his head.
but deep in his mind, he had the thought that just maybe she had started feeling for him what he's felt for her all along.

but basicallyyyy it means he's kinda liked her since they met and deep down he hopes that she's acting weird bc she realized she likes him too 🥰
