"I heard screams." Mago whimpered covering her ears in fear.
"Its okay Mago, it was just your imagination. Go back to bed Mikael and I will come up soon alright?" I gave her a hug and looked to Mikael. His eyes full of worry, matching my own.
Mago nodded and sleepily walked in the direction of our room.
"Another.." Mikael trailed off.
I nodded. I knew what he meant.
Another death.
"That's it. I can't live like this anymore! We are cattle to them." I slammed my hand against the wall angrily.
"I know.." Mikael trailed off walking towards me.
He enveloped my into a hug, trying to comfort me.
"I could go to the high vampire and offer my blood for-".
"No!" I shouted into his chest.
"Rin.." He trailed off. I shook my head.
"Fine." He huffed.
"We should probably get to bed. Mago will worry. We can't let a six year old worry about things. Although look where we are. Who wouldn't worry." I shook Mikael off and walked towards our room.
We were all couped up in one room but we didn't care as long as we were close to each other. We felt less tense.
They were all huddled tpgether, Mago now also asleep in the bundle. Ino was mumbling in her sleep. When Katsa and Hirotsu's names were heard in her mumbles I tensed up. Tears trailing down my cheeks. The memories flooded my vision again. Death. Blood. Screaming. Pur torture and agony.
I gripped my hair pulling it. My sobs were louder, which had Mikel running to me once again enveloping me in a hug. We stayed like that for hours, me sobbing into his chest while he pet my hair whispering soothing words in my ear. Falling asleep in each others arms along the line.
