[episode 01, season 01]

All three friends were standing in front of Dean's car. The brunet opened the trunk which contained various types of weapons and other equipment needed for hunting.

"So why didn't you go with your father?" Sam asked while his brother searched for something in the trunk. Aurora, on the other hand, was leaning against the car door and listening to them talk.

"Because I had a case in New Orleans involving some voodoo doll."

"Dad let you go hunting by yourself?" Sam joked and the girl let out a soft laugh that caught Dean's attention.

"Guys, I'm 26." He said, fed up with his younger brother's jokes. "Okay, dad was checking out the two-lane road outside of Jericho, California."

Aurora pushed away from the car and walked closer to the men, standing behind them and peeking behind them.

"Some time ago, this guy's car was found and he disappeared without a trace." He handed over a piece of paper with a photo of the man and a large inscription: "Missing." The brunette had to stand on her tiptoes to see what Sam was reading.

"Maybe he was just kidnapped?" the girl asked, looking at Dean, who had already started listing more mysterious disappearances from different years. "Okay, maybe not."

"I also got a voicemail from my father yesterday." He notified the two of us and played the recording.

"I'll never come back home."

"I'll never come home? What's that supposed to mean?" The brunette was embarrassed, it was the first time she was involved in a more serious matter.

"That's what I want to find out and I need Sam's help, yours will be very useful as well." The eldest replied, waiting for his brother to respond back.

"Okay, but just this one thing and I'm going back to the university." The girl smiled at the positive response from her friend. "Wait here while Rory and I grab a few things." The brunette nodded and followed Sam, where they took everything they needed for the hunt.

Aurora was ready first since she didn't have her clothes here and decided to borrow a few things from one of the guys. Unfortunately, she overheard Sam's conversation with Jess, the blonde was very worried about her boyfriend and her friend.

"Jess, we'll be fine, we're only going for a few days." Aurora interjected, wanting to help her friend with the girl.

"What about Michael?" the blonde asked worriedly.

"I'll tell Mrs. Smith to take care of him a little longer." The brunette smiled and went downstairs to Dean.

"Who is Michael?" asked the brunette who overheard the girls' conversation.

"Dean! You scared me." The girl placed her hand on her chest where her heart was. "No one important." She lied. She wasn't ready to tell the man the whole truth. She was afraid of how he would take this news.

"I'll find out anyway." He ruffled the girl's hair and then went to sit behind the wheel. The brunette decided to do the same, sitting in the back seat. "Why did you sit in the back?" He asked.

"It'd be better if Sammy sits next to you." Dean just nodded and they both waited together until Sam appeared.
