Chapter 1

Sofia and I were running to the quarry, Carl not so far behind me and Sofia way in front of me. We are playing tag but it isn't fair, Sofia is taller and faster and Carl is also taller, but I'm a bit faster than him. I look behind me and see Carl is getting closer and closer. "I'm gonna get you!" Carl yells to me. 'Oh fuck' I thought, I immediately began running closer to the water. Carl still only a few feet behind me. "Go after Sofia!" I yell to him. I look back behind me but he is just smirking at me. While I was looking behind me I didn't notice the rock laying in front of me. I tripped over the rock and scratch my knee and fall down.

"Are you okay?!" I hear Carl and Sofia yell. "I'm fine" I reply. "Doesn't look fine to me, you knee is bleeding" Carl says. "Let's go to my mom she is the closest to us" he points to his mom. I get up and began walking to Lori with Carl and Sofia in front of me.

"Mom!" Carl yells "Madison scratcht her knee" Lori turns around and immediately comes to me asking if it hurt bad, i just shake my head. She goes to the rv to get a bandage and she grabs some antibiotics to clean the wound. Agh this is gonna sting I thought. "This will sting a bit honey" Lori says. She cleans my wound and bandages my knee, after that I go sit in a tree. I see Carl and Sofia playing again. I never fit in with kids, they always bullied me because I have no parents. But Carl and Sofia are always nice to me. I look to my right and see Lori is talking with Shane, when I first arrived here a week ago I thought Shane was Loris husband and Carls dad. But he is Carls dad's best friend, Carls dad's name is Rick Grimes, it sounds familiar but I can't lay a finger on it. I look left and see the Dixion place, it's empty now. Merle, Glenn, T-Dog, Morales, Jaquin (don't know how to write her name) and Andrea are in the city to get supplies. And Daryl is hunting or something. Amy and Dale are by the rv. Carol is by her tent with Ed, I hate Ed he hurts Sofia and Carol and nobody else seems to really notice this problem.

I stay at Glenns tent, he is nice. He always gets me somethings from his runs to the city. Last time he went alone to the city and he got me a camera. I really like the camera it's blue (her favourite colour).

I got pulled out my thoughts when I hear this loud siren, sounding like the one of a stolen car. I jump out the tree, I wasn't high up so I could jump without hurting myself. I go towards the rest of the group, I hear Dale yell something about a stolen car to Shane.

Not long after Dale yells that i see a red car speeding here, then it comes to a stop. And Glenn comes out of the car, immediately Shane begins yelling to Glenn about turning the siren off. "I don't know how" Glenn replies. Shane opens the car and cuts a cord which makes the siren stop. Amy runs to Glenn and asks if her sister is okay. "She is okay everyone is okay" Glenn reply's but mumbles something about Merle not being so much.

Then the white van makes a stop behind Glenn's red car. Morales comes out and he hugs his family, Amy her sister. They are lucky to have them I smile sadly at the sight. Juquin and T-Dog come out to, but he looks a little 'beaten?'. 

"How did y'all get ou anyways" Shane asks, "we had help" Morales reply's "come on out helicopter boy!". A man with a sherif outfit comes out of the back of the van, at that moment Carl begins running towards the man and yells "DAD!" loudly, Lori follows fast behind him. 'Carls dead father is not dead?' I think. I am happy for Carl i am, but i also always longed for parents or just a mom or dad. Guess I'm just unlucky, and unwanted.

I sigh, then go and stand next to Glenn, i guess me and Glenn are friends he is nice and sweet to me. "I'm glad you're back" I say softly to Glenn standing next to him. Glenn looks down at me after hearing me and smiles sweetly at me. "I'm glad to be back here" he says.
