Chapter 2

Madison pov:

I am playing tag with Sofia and Carl, this time I am the one tagging. I am so close to tagging Sofia, "I will get you" I scream. "Please have mercy" Sofia says with a giggle. Carl is probably hiding, he does that when he is tired for a moment. Sofia starts running towards where the group is located, she rushes past Lori, me close behind her. She rushes past someone again but I don't have time to look, I bump into someone en fall on my but. "Are you okay?" a male voice asks. I look up and it's Carls dad/Rick, 'great way to make a first impression' I scolded myself. "Y-yeah I'm fine" I smile awkwardly. I look back up and see Rick extending his hand so he could help me up, he has a warm smile plastered on his face. I take the his hand and he helps me up, "thank you and sorry for bumping into you" I say smiling at him. "It's okay no worries, but I would go to Carl fast he is behind that tree" he smirked, pointing at the tree Carl is behind. I smile at him and begin running toward the tree but also careful so I don't fall. Carl hears me and yells "TRAITOR!" to his dad, before he also takes of running. 

Carl had began to go deeper into the woods, at a certain point I was chasing Carl and Sofia. "Come on guys slow a  bit down, what I can I do about it that I am short?", Sofia and Carl giggle at my comment but keep running, not wanting to get caught.

Then Sofia trips over this big thing, when I come closer is see it's a bambi (don't know the name just gonna call them that, hehe) getting eaten by a walker, "GLENN?!?" Yell loudly, Carl and Sofia began running and screaming for their parents.

 "MADISON" i hear Glenn's worries voice yell for me, "GLENN" I yell back. I see Glenn running towards me and Rick and Shane close behind him. Glenn comes to me and immediately takes me into a hug. I freeze, I never hugged a adult, im so shocked I don't hug him back. He lets go of me and puts his hands on my shoulders, "were you bit, did you get scratched?" He asks, I could see the worry in his eyes,

but why...I'm not his daughter, not his family, I'm just somehow new friend that also lives with him at this camp. Why would he be so worried, no adult ever worried for me, hell only one person did before al this happened. Why would he care? I just don't get it he met me last week and we aren't even that close...

"Are you okay?" He repeated with worry on his face, "y-yeah I'm fine, I'm fine" i reply.

"Walkers never came this close before" Shane says after him and Rick had decapitated the walkers head. "They must have ran out of food in the city" Jim replies, them something out of the bushes came. Daryl Dixion, brother to Merle Dixion, the dumbass stuck on the roof.

"motherless (felt that), deceased, filthy animal!" He yelled out of frustration. "Yelling won't make it any better" Dale try's to reason, "you standing there won't do anything to bring food either, old man" Daryl snapped back. "Don't talk like that asshole", Glenn immediately takes my hand and glares a little at me, causing me to roll my eyes. Then pushes me behind him not wanting me to say more things

"MERLE!" Daryl yells to his brother 'who is not here' "GET YOUR DUMBASS HERE I GOT SQUIRRELSL!!". "We need to talk" Rick says to Daryl, "who are you" Daryl quickly says. "Rick, Rick Grimes" he says, "you got something you wanna tell me, Rick Grimes" Daryl says mocking Rick while doing so. "There was a problem in Atlanta involving your brother" Rick says.

Before I could hear more of their arguing, Lori grabs my and Carls hand while Carol grabs Sofias hand leading us to the rv. Away from the fighting.

Like I think now on the road after this to CCD, Maddison's and Ricks bonding begins a little, and that with Glenn the night he comes back and in the CCD their relationship is gonna blossom out more to kid-guardianship.
