Three: His Secret

It's been three months since Klaus and Annbelle have been getting to know one another and Klaus thinks it's time to tell her everything. She deserves to know. Annabelle walked out of her house to see Klaus. "Hello, Niklaus. Is there something wrong?"

"No, Annabelle, dear, I came to take you for a walk." He tells her. "There's something you need to know."

Annabelle nodded as he walked away with him. Katerina smiled as she watched them causing her to look at Elijah. "I don't trust him around your sister."

"He loves my sister just like she loves him."

Elijah didn't trust Klaus.

"After getting to know you, love, there is something you should know. I have a twin, Nico, but you will met him when the time is right." She nodded as she listened. "I'm a vampire or actually a hybrid. I came here in search for the doppelgänger and I met her, but I fell for her sister."

"Me?" He nodded. "You need my sister for a ritual? Why?"

"To become my true self."

Annabelle couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Have you been using me all this time?"

"No, love." He says taking her hands in his. "The moment I met you, I knew that I may have been making a mistake, but I swear to you that I have never use you. I would never do that. I just didn't expect you to be her sister."

"Nik, I don't know what to say. I'm not afraid of you, but it feels like I was just a pawn."

Watching her go, Klaus did the one thing. He appeared in front of her and kissed her. Annabelle was shocked by that till she kissed him back. They stood there kissing till she pulled away. "I can't lose you, love. You mean everything to me."

Annabelle smiled with tears in her eyes as she could tell he really wasn't using her like that. "Maybe there is a way to save my sister and what you actually need from her."

Klaus sighed. "Love, there's no other way. I've been searching since the day I met you. My brother Elijah, he thinks that I was using you, but I was getting to know you. The three months of being here and knowing you, I want you with me." He wiped away a tear. "I will find a way to save your sister as long as I get to have you, love."

Nico saw his brother with a girl and watched as they hugged. He could tell they were in love with one another. Yet, they have to be whole again. Seeing Katerina, he knew that soon, they will host a party that will change everything. If Katerina doesn't cooperate, there will be consequences.

Annabelle laid her head on his chest and as Klaus held her in his arms, he wondered something about Annabelle. She didn't seem to actually look like her sister making him wonder. Is Annabelle like him? A different father? He will find out soon, but for now, he wasn't going to think of it as he had Annabelle in his arms. The right place he wants to be at is with Annabelle in his arms.
