In the bustling city of Mondstadt, you, Kaeya, and Diluc had been inseparable since childhood.

Growing up together, the three of you shared countless adventures, mischief, and dreams. As the years passed, your friendship deepened, but so did the complexities of your relationships.

You always felt a special connection with both brothers, but it was Kaeya's playful charm and teasing demeanor that often left you flustered. Diluc, on the other hand, was more reserved, his stoic exterior hiding a fierce loyalty and a heart that beat just for you.

One sunny afternoon, the three of you decided to have a picnic by the Whispering Woods. As you laid out the blanket and unpacked the food, Kaeya leaned in close, his breath warm against your ear. "Did you know, Y/n, that the Whispering Woods are said to reveal secrets if you listen carefully?"

You giggled, pushing him playfully. "What kind of secrets, Kaeya?"

He smirked, his eye twinkling with mischief. "Perhaps secrets about who likes whom."

Diluc, who had been setting up the drinks, shot Kaeya a warning glance. "Enough with your games, Kaeya. We're here to enjoy ourselves."

Kaeya raised his hands in mock surrender. "Relax, Diluc. Just having a bit of fun."

As the day went on, you couldn't help but notice the tension between the brothers. It was subtle, but there, simmering beneath the surface. When Kaeya offered you a piece of cake, his fingers brushing against yours, you saw the way Diluc's jaw tightened.

Later, as the sun began to set and the sky turned a beautiful shade of orange, you decided to take a walk to clear your mind. Kaeya, ever the opportunist, followed you.

"You know, Y/n," he began, his tone unusually serious, "I've been thinking a lot lately."

You looked up at him, your curiosity piqued. "About what?"

"About us. About how much you mean to me." He stopped walking, turning to face you. "Y/n, I've always been drawn to you. Your kindness, your strength... everything about you captivates me."

Your heart skipped a beat. "Kaeya, I..."

Before you could finish, a voice interrupted. "Y/n, Kaeya."

You turned to see Diluc approaching, his expression a mix of determination and worry. "I need to talk to you, Y/n."

Kaeya sighed, stepping back slightly. "Diluc, can't you see we're in the middle of something?"

Diluc ignored him, his focus entirely on you. "Y/n, I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time. I care about you, deeply. I've tried to keep my feelings to myself, but I can't anymore."

Caught between the two brothers, you felt your heart tugging in different directions. "Diluc, Kaeya... I care about both of you, but this is too much."

Kaeya stepped forward, his expression softening. "Y/n, you don't have to decide right now. But you deserve to know how we feel."

Diluc nodded, his usual stern demeanor softened by the vulnerability in his eyes. "We'll respect whatever choice you make, Y/n."

Days passed, and the tension between Kaeya and Diluc grew. It seemed every interaction was tinged with an unspoken competition. One evening, as you sat by the fountain in Mondstadt, lost in thought, Kaeya joined you.

"Hey," he said softly, sitting beside you. "I've been thinking... maybe we should settle this once and for all."

You raised an eyebrow. "Settle what?"

He grinned, though it didn't reach his eyes. "A duel. Winner gets to take you on a proper date."

You couldn't help but laugh. "A duel? Seriously, Kaeya?"

He shrugged, his smile turning sheepish. "Okay, maybe not a duel. But something to show you how much you mean to us."

Before you could respond, Diluc appeared, having overheard. "That's ridiculous, Kaeya. This isn't a game."

Kaeya stood, his playful demeanor gone. "Then what do you suggest, Diluc? Because clearly, we're at an impasse."

You stood between them, placing a hand on each of their chests. "Enough. This isn't what I want. I care about both of you, and I don't want to see you fight."

Diluc sighed, his gaze softening. "You're right, Y/n. This isn't fair to you."

Kaeya nodded, his usual bravado replaced by sincerity. "We both want you to be happy, Y/n. That's what's most important."

In the following weeks, the tension eased as the three of you found a way to coexist peacefully.

You spent time with each of them, trying to understand your own feelings. It was during a quiet evening with Kaeya, sitting under the stars, that you realized where your heart truly lay.

"Kaeya," you began, your voice trembling slightly, "I need to tell you something."

He turned to you, his expression hopeful yet cautious. "What is it, Y/n?"

"I've made my decision. It's you, Kaeya. You've always had a way of making me feel special, and I can't imagine my life without you."

His face lit up with joy as he pulled you into a tight embrace. "Y/n, you've just made me the happiest man in Mondstadt."

Before you could respond, he captured your lips in a passionate kiss, sealing the promise of a future together.

Just as the kiss deepened, you heard a gasp. Pulling away, you saw Diluc standing there, a bittersweet smile on his face. "I guess I should have known."

You walked over to him, taking his hand in yours. "Diluc, you'll always be important to me. This doesn't change that."

He nodded, his eyes filled with understanding. "I know, Y/n. And as long as you're happy, that's all that matters."

With the stars twinkling above and the promise of a new chapter unfolding, you knew that your journey with Kaeya and Diluc would continue to be filled with love, laughter, and the unbreakable bond of friendship.
