[ April 30th ]

[Rody's pov]

I haven't seen Vincent in days. Not since...what happened. The words "I love you Rody" have been stuck in my head ever since. 𝐷𝑜 𝑖 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑚? 𝐼 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛 𝑖 𝑑𝑜 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑚, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑑𝑜 𝑖 "𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒" ℎ𝑖𝑚?
I did some research and i might be what some people call, bisexual? I don't really know much of it, but i wouldn't mind looking more into it. I've takes a few days off work to process it all. I do wonder how Vincent's doing...

[Vincent's pov]

Im doing absolutely shit. Rody must think im some gay freak or something. I completely fucked it up. He's taken a couple days off work, probably because he couldn't bear to look at me. I need to get some fresh air. I grab my coat and leave my apartment to go for a walk.

[Rody's pov]

I've been thinking so much that I didn't even realise that my stomach was growling. I walk over to the fridge as i open it to see what's inside. 𝐵𝑙𝑒𝑢𝑟𝑔ℎ... all the food that Vincent gave me had just been rotting in the fridge. 𝑇𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑜 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖 𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑠... I close the fridge door and grab my coat and umbrella. I grab my keys and walk out the door.

[ 30 minutes later ]

As im leaving the store i notice a few drops fall from the sky. Luckily i brought my umbrella since i saw some dark clouds. 𝑉𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑛𝑡'𝑠 𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎... I open the umbrella and start walking along the street with my shopping bag. The light drops turn into heavy rain. Im almost home until i see.....a familiar face.

[Vincent's pov]

Im standing under a tree, trying to shelter from the rain. "Fuck..this is 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 what i needed right now, ugh." I stand there impatiently hoping that the rain would stop soon.

"Vincent?..."

My face turns red as i recognise that voice. I turn around as my eyes meet some deep emerald coloured ones. "Oh, uhm...h-hey Rody..." i sheepishly say. "Vince, could we talk for a moment? he asks while looking sorrowful at me. I try to fumble my way out of this conversation, so i slowly move backwards away from him. "Mmmm i would, but i have a lot to do and i have to manage the restaurant and-"
Rody suddenly grabs my hand.
"Stop."
I look down at our hands and then back up at him.
"I just wanted to let you know that....im not angry at what you did."
This surprised me. 𝐻𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑠𝑛'𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑟𝑦??
"Y-you're not?" i hesitatingly said.
"No. And if im completely honest... i kind of liked it...."
This shocked me the most. Was he gay? Did he like me back?
"I just wanted to do this before i leave."
He pulled me closer and kissed me. It didn't feel forced or anything. It didn't feel fake, because he was drunk. It felt like a genuin loving kiss. We held each other close as we shared a deep kiss. We finally let go as i looked deep into his eyes.
"I love you too Vince." he whispered.
I pulled his lips back to mine as we kissed again. It was perfect. We finally got a happy ending. It was still pouring it down with rain, but thats what made it romantic. We kissed for what seemed like ages. His lips smashing onto mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. It seemed like my wish had been fulfilled. After all these months. I had finally found happiness.

We finally pulled apart as we stared deep and lovingly into each other's eyes. I went up close to his ear and whispered: "I never properly wished you...."

"𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐲."
