Dominic's POV
Omegas are soft and demure creatures of peace and tranquility. In the magic world they are known for their politeness, disdain for violence and attention to detail.
Or so the ancient texts tell us.
They couldn't be more wrong.
Following Jai out of that showroom had been a mistake, but what else was I supposed to do? He was on a rampage tearing things apart and breaking glass windows around the showroom.
I don't care for property damage but he was going to get glass on himself. I could already smell some blood coming off of him so he was hurt already. I needed to get him to calm down or he will hurt himself even further.
He was smashing the windows of a luxury watch house when I caught up to him. His face was beat red and sweat laden. He was huffing and puffing and anyone would see this fit of anger was really draining him. Before, I could approach him he caught me sneaking up to him.
"NO STAY AWAY! I WILL BEAT YOU UP"
I charged at him against his protestations, and he reflexively swung his iron poker at my head. I ducked and head butted him, lifting him over my shoulder and crashing into the wall behind him.
He groaned in pain under the force of the impact and dropped the poker. I didn't stop and continued carrying him over my shoulder and towards the car.
"NO DROP ME YOU BUFFOOON. TUJHE AAJ MAIN KHATAM KARKE RAHUNGA, CHUTIYE (translation: I'll finish you today you fucker)"
He continued smashing his fists against my back, begging to be let free but I only held on tighter. His skin was blazing with heat, it was like carrying a sack full of hot coals. He continued to scream and thrash all the way to the car, where I sat him onto the roof.
As soon as he got free he attacked my face scratching and biting ferociously like a stray dog. I grabbed his hands but he swung against my arms and kicked me square in the face. I forgot he was trained in hand-to-hand combat, but his powerful kick was a reminder that I don't think I would forget anytime soon.
I pushed him against the car and closed the distance between us to immobilise him. Although I had promised him that I won't use use magic on him and I was trying to keep my promise to him, he was making it very hard.
"That's enough Jai. You're tired. Stop." I gritted through my teeth angrily.
"NO I AM NOT"
"You need to drink water."
"NO FUCK YOU"
"I know you're hungry" I offered.
"I AM." He screamed, with his face still puffy with exhaustion. His skin was smoking and he was barely able to stand up as he wobbled on his feet. I lifted him up again to prevent him from falling.
"Then get in the car. We'll go get something to eat." I spoke with my face pressed up against him that my words fell directly into his mouth and then let him down.
"FINE"
He stomped his feet and pushed me away. He walked over to the passenger side and sat in wordlessly. He was still short of breath and clenching his jaw in anger, I was worried he would grind his teeth.
"Here have some water." I said offering him a water bottle.
"FUCK OFF"
