It was a foggy morning when you were walking to work after your car broke down. You're annoyed that you had to walk all the way to your work but you had to suck it up, since you didn't have any change for the bus. You took a shortcut through the wooded park, it had a good amount of forest so you were getting some good fresh air. All of a sudden someone grabbed you and there was a cloth over your mouth and nose. You started to lose consciousness until you blacked eventually blacked out.

Hours later you woke up inside a glass cage, you were lying in a bed. You stood up and faced with a man in-front of the cage staring at you, he was seemingly admiring you. You were so angry when you saw him, but you were scared about what he could do to you.

"Why am I here? Please let me go!"
You squeaked out a sentence and the man only chuckled, you took a good look at him. He was wearing a blue hoodie and some basic black pants, but the most strange thing was that mask he was wearing. The mask was blue and it had two black circles for eyes, some black liquid was dripping from underneath the mask. You waited patiently for him to answer, he was staring hard and it felt he was looking through you.

"You're here because I wanted you."
He spoke softly, his voice was inhuman and it made you shiver. You furrowed your eyebrows in annoyance, (just how entitled is this guy??) you stopped thinking and decided to speak.

"What is that supposed to mean?"
You look up at him with a worried expression, thinking about all the things he could do to you in your head. He crossed his arms and you could hear him laugh a little.

"It means what I said, I'm the only one who you can trust. you belong to me."
He crosses his arms, you pause where you're standing and your lip quivers as you process what he just said. he then suddenly turns away leaving you standing there in shock. You eventually sit down on the bed in your cage and try to wrap your head around the situation you're in. You think so hard you start to fall asleep, you lay down feeling drowsy and close your eyes.

Every single day after that you would wake up to see the man standing in-front of your enclosure, he had a bouquet of flowers and a love letter. And his name, that you now knew was Jack, was always written on the back of the letter. Every single letter that he gave you would always be torn up into little pieces in front of him, that was the case until you had decided to finally read one of them out of sheer boredom. It was really passionate and you couldn't help but feel a tinge of emotion in your heart for him.

The next day Jack had walked up to your cage with a letter and a bouquet you had accepted it, you opened the letter in front of Jack and you could feel the mood shift as he stared at you with surprise. You slowly skimmed over his letter, you felt the raw emotion he poured into it and you couldn't help but feel that he was the only one truly there for you. Jack pressed his hand against the glass and you placed yours onto his.

For the first time in a long while Jack had let you out of your cage, it was refreshing to be out of there. You felt a strong connection with him, it was like he's the only person you could trust. Maybe it was him constantly telling you things like that, but you had started to believe it was true. Jack took you out on a date in a park, it was casual and you two walked around for an hour. When Jack held your hand you could feel your heart skip a beat.
