POV of Cloud

 

March 14, Thursday

“ kamusta na si Xime Cloud?” tanong ni Sky sa akin. We were having our lunch here at the cafeteria.

“ medyo ok na siya ngayon.” But the truth is, she’s not okay. Hindi na siya kumakain ng tama, ang payat na nga niya eh, tapos hindi na gaanong tumatawa. Hindi na siya yung Ximena na nakilala ko.

May kinuha siyang isang notebook sa bag niya at inabot nya ito sa akin. “ pls, give this to Xime. I am heading to the states tomorrow. Doon ko ipagpapatuloy ang studies ko.”

He’s going to the states? But what about the baby? Iiwan nalang niya yon? Inabot ko na ang notebook.    “ don’t read it okay. ipabasa mo yan sa kanya.”

I fetched Ximena at school after her class. As usual, ang tamlay niya pa rin. Kahit anong pagpapatawa ko sa kanya wala pa ring epekto.

Nang makarating na kami sa bahay niya ay ibinigay ko na sa kanya ang notebook na ipinabigay sa akin ni Sky. “ from Sky.” Kinuha na niya iyon “ Ximena, huwag mong piliting kalimutan siya dahil mas lalo mo  lang siya maiisip at masasaktan ka lang at mahihirapan, just let the feelings flow at mapapagod rin yan.” She gave a wry smile at pumasok na siya loob.

Before I go to sleep, I decided to read  Sky’s notebook. Nakasalampak na ako sa kama at binuklat ko na ito and I smiled cause it’s a handwritten autograph.

Age: 19

Sex: of course, Male

 

Mabuti naman at sinagot na niya ng maayos.

Hobby: loving Ximena

Hindi na having sex ang hobby niya, it’s loving me na pala. I didn’t know that I am his hobby.

And I am still his bestfriend.

I just continue scanning the notebook and was stunned to find out the writings.

 

Ximena is my subject. You can’tproduce a beautiful picture without it and you can’t even produce a sentence without the subject.

                                      We’re like batman and robin. Hello and kitty. Kungfu and Panda.

Napagod ako today but it’s all worth it!

         My bestfriend turned out to be my girlfriend.

                                                            I am the luckiest guy in the world.

Everybody left me but it’s you who still stood up beside me. SURVIVOR PHILIPPINES!

                 I thought hindi na magbabago tong hudas kong ugali but Xime changed me.

Lucky I’m inlove with my bestfriend.

                        I thought love was just all about lust and sex but Ximena proved me wrong.

 I’ll marry you and you will be my wife. Sisguraduhin ko yan Xime.

I smirked on the last sentence. Be your wife? Really? Hindi na mangyayari yan. At di ko na mapigilang lumuha, I still love him pero wala na akong magagawa eh. Hindi namang pwedeng agawin ko si Sky sa bata. Ang damot ko na pag ganon. Ayaw kong maranasan ng bata ang naranasan ko.

I am sorry. I am a scumbag. Sorry for causing you so much trouble. I love you XIMENA! XIME KO!
