the feeling you get from a confession
it's a sinking feeling
a feeling that flips your stomach
a feeling that drops you into a pit of uncertainty
a feeling that leaves you shaky from nervousness
it's very familiar to us
yet, when i get it, it feels surreal
it feels as if i've done something
as if i'm guilty of a crime i didnt do
it's the beauty of confession
yet i hate the fucking feeling of it.
