I got up from my chair and started walking down to the shore. I took and really deep breath and answered.

"Jared?"

"Gembug! Did you get my gifts?" I could tell he was excited to hear my answer.

"Yeah, look maybe we should save those LA tickets for another time you don't have to come visit me." I did miss him though.

"What's the matter you don't want me to come visit? What're are you hiding from me Gemma?" He laughed.

"..." I stayed silent.

"Gemma? Is everything ok?" He asked worry in his voice.

"Yeah everything's great, I'm great, LA is great, my friends are great." I smiled.

"Ok, well don't get into too much trouble and no boys allowed." He teased.

"I know, I know."

"Ok well I have to go but I'll call you later bye I love you."

"Ok love you too." I hung up.

I don't know what I'm doing. Maybe I should tell Kian, he doesn't have a girlfriend so there's not a reason I wouldn't tell him. But I don't know things feel different when I'm with him, no stop it you have Jared, the boy you love and the boy that loves you. Kian doesn't even know much about me either way so things wouldn't work between us. I don't even know his last name so I shouldn't be jumping into things, I should get to know him first and then decide if I still feel the same way about Jared, which I do... At least right now I do.

"Hey is everything alright?" I turned to see Kian.

"Yeah, I'm just confused."

"About?" We walk along the shore like we did earlier.

"Well let's fix that, tell me something's about you." He smiled.

"Ok, my names Gemma Greene, I ironically love the color green, I'm 17, my birthday is July 2nd, my family means everything to me, I have a 2 dogs and a cat, I was born and raised in Washington, my two best friends are Isabella and Emma, and I have yet to find a job.Your turn."

"Ok, my name is Kian Lawley, my favorite color is green I'm 19 my birthday is September 2nd, I love hanging out with my friends, I have two dogs and one cat also, I was born in Iowa and was raised in California, my two best friends are Sam and Jc, and I'm a well-known YouTuber."

"Well, Kian Lawley, anything else you'd like to know?"

"Do you want to do come to another party tomorrow? It's for my friends Trevor, Ricky, and Connor. Ricky and Trevor just got back from your and Connor is selling tons of copies of his book."

"Sure." I smiled, "but I'm bringing Emma and Isabella too."

"I'm sure Jc and Sam would love that."

"Yeah they've really hit it off."

"And to think we all just met today." We were heading back to the bonfire.

"I'll be right back." I was going to find my jacket.

I was heading to the trunk of the car but I heard laughing. It sounded like Isabella and now that I think of it I haven't seen her since they got here. I was going to scare her but then I heard Jc talking.

"Come on no one would know." I heard Jc say.

"Then stop talking and do it already." It got quiet...

"Woah! When did that happen?" I walked in on them kissing.

"Gemma! Did you ever notice how beautiful Isabella is?" Jc was staring at Isabella.
